    What makes it fun

Amigo Walking Tours creates outstanding tours that are as entertaining as they are educational by combining the city's top sights and tales. We enjoy discussing the history of this stunning city with our visitors. Whether you're a frequent traveler or a lifelong resident, there's always something new to discover and take in! Due to the fact that our Free Public Tours of Downtown are offered without charge and that you are only required to tip what you think is appropriate at the conclusion, you are certain to get precious knowledge as well as perhaps have a chance to win Jeopardy one day. Paid Private Tours with one of our outstanding guides are another fantastic way to visit Downtown or the King William District.

Great tour. Brent was entertaining and informative. We recently moved to San Antonio and this was a wonderful introduction to some places we didn't know and for more knowledge about some places we had been before.

We had a wonderful tour with Jane. She is obviously passionate about Texas history and it was interesting to learn so much, while strolling around and enjoying the sights downtown. We always do tip/free walking tours in Europe and we were excited to see someone implementing this style of tour in the states.

Brent masterfully weaves a story of San Antonio’s challenges and triumphs - the collisions of Old and New World. He brings energy and a unique knowledge of his native city to visitors from all around the world. This is the tour you want to start your time in San Antonio with.

King William walking tour. Brent was super knowledgeable about the area. He was extremely personable and made it a point to include everyone (including the 20 month old!). My favorite part is that he seamlessly blended the historical facts of the area with the modern circumstances. It was crystal clear that he was sharing a fraction of his knowledge with us. We will definitely do others with Amigo!

Brent led our family on an exceptional walking tour through historic King William. His knowledge of the area and the history was impressive, and he made the adventure relevant to each of us. Looking forward to another tour again soon!

Thank you, Brent. Great tour , interactive, good pace. Highly recommend the King William district tour for architectural history and easy walking outside of the downtown hustle. We take a lot of walk tours & Amigo in SA earns high marks. Thx Brent for your knowledge and making it super fun.

We booked a tour with Brent of San Antonio's beautiful King William district. Our group ranged from 2 yo to 74, both out-of-towners and locals. Everyone (even the toddler!) enjoyed this fun outing. Brent was amazing - knowledgeable and entertaining. He seamlessly blended architecture, family history, and global events into fascinating stories that kept everyone engaged. We'll be back.

A walking tour with Brent was one of the highlights of our weekend trip to San Antonio! He was informative, educated, humorous, witty, and handled unexpected situations with professionalism and courtesy. Even the teens in our groups connected easily with him and enjoyed learning about the city. His love for San Antonio is absolutely genuine. I wouldn’t consider taking a walking tour with anyone else in San Antonio!

Brent knows what he is talking about. Great tour if you have a couple hours to explore the city and learn about San Antonio’s important history! Also a great way to get insider tips about being a tourist in the city. Thanks Brent!

I loved this tour! Brent was very knowledgeable about all aspects of what made San Antonio what it is today, but even better he did a great job of weaving that knowledge into the story of the city in a way that helps you understand its character, which is exactly what I like in a walking tour. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is new to San Antonio or just wants to know a little more about what makes it special!

This tour was fantastic! Brent was so knowledgeable of the history of San Antonio and he made us "wow!" and laugh and feel deeply for the people of this area. The tour was free but a generous tip was greatly deserved.
