    What makes it fun

The Centro De Artes is a wonderful place to embrace the culture and inspiring talents of the Latino Arts. The Centro De Artes is a Museum, Gallery and Cultural Center all in one. Have your eyes and hearts captured by the beautiful works of art by Latino Americans from local, national and international artists. This is a fascinating place where the exhibits facilitate an appreciation and understanding of the influence that Latino arts and culture has had on The United States. A perfect place to spend the day with your forever lover and expand your horizons on what makes us all great for each other and one another.

This is a lovely free art gallery experience. The current exhibit, Dining with Rolando Briseño is so clever and impactful.

This is free and open to the public. We've been there during different exhibits, and have found most of them very interesting. Always walk away with something new to think about.

We were not planning to enter the art gallery, but we were so happy that we did. The Rolando Briseno exhibit was great. Loved the posted explanations and cultural/ historical context; it made the visit very enjoyable.

Visiting downtown and came across the entrance to view the exhibit and other than the folks at the front desk not being too greeting to the other customers and myself, the exhibition was very interesting and very well put together. Super clean, including the restrooms. Very intimate and informative pictures of the immigrants and their journeys and struggles in the photos display. But really disappointed in the 2 employees at the entrance not being helpful in telling us the process to sign in and at least communicating to us a little of what we are walking in to. Other than that, it went well.

Not being that experienced in art, I considered some photos I came across a little out of place. Although I found the ones about the immigrants quite interesting. But if someone knows how to find flavor in any art. I would surely enjoy the place.

It was very interesting and to me sad also. People have their opinions and looking at those pictures makes a person think about a lot of things, for me at least.

Soy de Tejas exhibit was amazing! Centro de artes is a former museum turned gallery-the space is 2 story, high ceilings, white spacious walls. Located in the heart of the Market Square, this art space and exhibition is a delightful unexpected surprise. Contemporary artista from Texas are featured here and the shows are changing on a regular basis to give you something different to look at. Admission is free but parking is usually a paid lot.
