Great studio with great teachers and a supportive community of dancers who help you learn. Excellent social calendar and group lessons most nights in addition to privates available. I highly recommend Fred Astaire!

This is a great place to begin to learn about different dances. Great instructor and explained the dance in a very good manner and easy to understand. Great introduction to dancing.

I came to this studio on a recommendation of a friend of mine and was very self concious since I am on the heavy side with low self esteem. Every person from Chasity at the front desk, Steffany who is an owner to all the instructors (Roland, Danny, Fanni, Vivien and Lily) made me feel welcome and unjudged. By the time I had been there 3 months I had enough confidence to even dance in a showcase they had their at the studio. They have all helped me believe more in myself and brought me back to the person I had not been for a long time. So not only did I get excersice in a fun way, and learn ballroom dance, I gained an extended family and friends that I would never have met had I not taken a chance on them as they took a chance on me. I love the environment and can't wait to be back after my works busy season. See you guys soon. Love April.

My husband and I have been coming to this studio for several years. We have had to take a couple of breaks but always come back. It makes us happy. The staff have become like family. But what you really want to know is why do people take lessons and stay. Because it's fun. You can struggle with a step and when the light goes on, it makes it worth it. The instructors that work with you are highly trained and will figure out the best way for you to learn. The studio is very well kept. It has a nice size dance floor and restrooms. While it's not an inexpensive hobby it is worth the time and money. If you're looking for something that you can do together that's good for your body and your brain, this is something you definitely want to look at. Will we ever be professionals, no, but we have fun and don't step on each others feet now.

I have a great instructor JoshTorres, patient and encouraging. When I have completed the course in ballroom dance I am confident I will do well on the dance floor. Management & staff are welcoming, encouraging, and professional. They offer lessons in ballroom, latin, country, swing. I highly recommend Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Stone Oak. You won't be disappointed if you choose to take lessons. Nice location easy access, located at 115 N. Loop 1604 E. Ste. 1200.

We approached Fred Astaire to help with our wedding Argentine Tango, which included other dances like the waltz and salsa. We were extremely happy with Nancy (Manager) and Ferenc (our instructor) the entire way through. We took approximately three months of weekly lessons that culminated to an almost DWTS-type dance at our wedding! It was such a HIT!!! My husband and I recommend this studio if you want to learn how to dance and learn it the right way...EXTREMELY satisfied--so were our 150+ guests!! Thanks again Ferenc, Nancy and Fred Astaire!!
