    What makes it fun

In the heart of downtown San Antonio you will find the Majestic Theatre. This historic landmark was established in 1929 and seats 2,264 people. Designed by architect, John Eberson, the interior of the theatre is one of the most magical looking places you may ever lay your eyes on. So naturally, it’s a great place to bring the person you feel is the most magical human you may ever laid your eyes on. The theatre will make you feel like royalty and completely take your breathe away. Grab your sweet thang and take them to a show, make a special night in a special place. The Majestic Theatre is where majestic dreams come true.

An otherwise nice theater, the staff are completely unwilling to attend to basic cell phone etiquette of the patrons. I saw people recording music, taking video, using flash photography, etc. and the management did nothing.

The venue is beautiful, but the sound wasn't great and the floor plan made moving in and out feel like a cattle call. Ushers were no help at all.

Great experience. Buy tickets at box office and safe. You will pay x3 more at Ticketmaster.. Box office is open late on a performance nights, otherwise till 5 pm. Parking by the theater is free for 15 minutes, enough to buy tickets. Many different performers and artists.

Beautiful theatre with great views from the mezzanine. However, if sitting in the mezzanine I would sit in the front row AA. You have a lot more leg room. Row BB and beyond and your knees will hurt. I’m 5’1 and I had an inch of space from the row in front of me.After 90 minutes my knees hurt upon standing. I’m sooo goad the elevator in the theatre was working so my elderly grandma didn’t have to climb stairs. The snack prices are ridiculous at almost $6 for a pack of M & Ms, and $10 for a small bag of popcorn. Don’t come hungry! The Houston Street garage is right behind the theater. I would arrive at least an hour early for a big show to so that you don’t end up at the top. The wait for the elevator to get back up will take a long time, but going down to get out is quick. Traffic can get gridlocked in front if the entrance/exit. I would use a garage a little further away next time.

Giving it four out of five stars only because of the lack of leg room. It was worse than a plane! Went to see Riverdance. It was a beautiful venue. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We had a good time at this outdoor theater. The sound was not the best, but the performer was great. You will sit on some type of bleacher with grass, so maybe bring something with padding or waterproof if needed. It's right in front of the Riverwalk, so you will see many boats passing through.
