What makes it fun

The Pearl Brewery is a hip place for hanging out. The Pearl encomapses a large area of bars and resturants that have beautiful outdoor areas with lots of twinkling lights at night. The environment is very laid back with just a dash of upscale. The Pearl is also rich with history as it has been around longer than any of us. Making it through prohibition, the great depression, World War II and two pandemics it stands firm and proud of its rich culture and diversity. The community loves to embrace culture and delicious cuisine. The food selections are out of this world! They welcome all who will come with open arms and impeccable service. Do yourself and your special someone a favor and treat yourselves to a night at The Pearl.

It's not often you see a hotel/grocery/bar all in one (let alone one with such an interesting history). It's also refreshing to find a place with a naturally classic industrial look and feel, as opposed to the newer buildings and renovations you see throughout San Antonio and Austin. Terrific vibe!

We just visited to see it, but it was very interesting. The age and history. The remodeling has used alot of the original brewery structures in there bar and event room. A must see!

Great place to come hang-out!The Farmers’ Market is a fun, and exciting, activity for the whole family! Bring swim gear for your kids, or yourself as well, as there is a big splash pad to cool off in.

Just beautiful. There is so much to do and enjoy here. It really is a wonderful family environment. But, there are also so many delightful venues couples and adult friends to enjoy. This incredible location and what it has to offer in terms of shopping, dining and enterainment, are second to none!

THE Pearl Square offers a nice atmosphere, with something for each budget, personality and age group. Even your furry friends!Everyone can enjoy it, even for free if you pack your lunch and drinks.Parking area is $3.00 for a full day.Imagine a date in the patisserie, a relaxing stroll during a lunch break, unwinding after a long day or week, the possibilities are endless.The riverside trail behind the Pearl leads to The River Walk, The San Antonio Zoo, The San Antonio Art Museum and other places of interest.We enjoy strolling around it, seeing the fountains, water features, variety of shops, restaurants, cafés, and picnic areas .We recommend the food court, it offers of course great steak tacos and other culinary specialties.The highlight is always walking along the riverside!! Full of charm and history.Take a relaxing walk while you admire the waterfall features, wildlife, native plants, amazing sculptures and of course learn a about the river history.Bring your phone charger, there are many outlets available thoughout the trail, should your phone run out of battery!Worth the drive if you enjoy walking along the river trail and touring the stores, restaurants and various shops.Our favorite area is the waterfall area, so beautiful and peaceful. Dog friendly MUST SEE!

A nice place to chill and hangout and also do some light shopping. I stopped by this place and spent about an hour plus while waiting to attend NBA game. It is definitely relaxing and nice to just walk and laze around. There is an area where families just let their kids run around and also some folks take their pet along. If I am a local staying there then probably I will drop by once a while. But for visitors, probably worth visiting once but not more than that as I don't see anything worth going back for.
