    What makes it fun

In 2007 Linda Pace created Ruby City. This magical place full of contemporary art is open and FREE to the public. How amazing! The mission of Ruby City is to provide a space for talented artists with passion to express themselves, their perspectives and so much more. The community has a thriving population of incredible artists eager to show case their work and Ruby City provides the perfect platform. The gallery is for those who appreciate art as much as it is for those who look to create it. The collection consists of over 900 paintings, sculptures, installations and video presentations. Expand your mind through art with your masterpiece of a partner.

This is a very special destination. I suggest you read a bit about it before you go to understand this is not a typical museum. It is a moving experience with art that opens you a bit and the grounds across the street include Linda Pace’s (the benefactor) original studio, a lovely park in memory of her son and current artist exhibits. This is a must-see for art students and for those who appreciate all aspects of art. Thanks to Ms Pace, the museum is open to the public and is free.

It was cringe. If you want to protect your art encase it ALL in glass. big pieces? place borders around them. Don't hire annoying teenage guards to step in every 5 seconds cus my breath is hurting the art. Annoying experience but a beautiful building and some great pieces. I aint even TOUCH anything bro and they stepped in like 5 times, like family go kick rocks

Great visuals in the modern art exhibits. Not too busy with traffic. Gives you time to take deep thought into the meaning of the art pieces

Visiting during a weekday afternoon, it was quiet and peaceful. Although I made a reservation, it seemed unnecessary. The counter staff was incredibly friendly and provided explanations like a personal guide. Since I'm not well-versed in art, a quick look around took about 10 minutes in the main building and 20 minutes in the garden, totaling around 30 minutes for the entire visit. Plus, it's free!

Amazing works on view! Very thoughtful. The hang of the work is perfect!! Staff is so knowledgeable and kind. Would HIGHLY recommend checking out the Amy Cutler exhibition they have on view in their smaller gallery space located in the park! 10/10 the best art galleries in SA ;)

Nice art collection and friendly and helpful staff too. Better book an appointment ahead of time.

This art museum is free with an appointment. You can park free on Camp Street or in the designated parking lot at 1203 S Flores St. As of October 2022 masks are required inside. The modern art is primarily on the second floor, which you can take the stairs or elevator to. Behind the building is the sculpture garden. Across the road is Chris Park which is a lovely small park. At the end of Park is a small studio with more art. The whole experience was lovely and really fun.
