Fabulous tour company! We took the Missions tour (with elementary aged kiddos) and it was exactly what we were looking for. Small group, comfortable van, and knowledgeable host (Matt). If you are looking to get out of San Antonio for a few hours and experience the history of this beautiful part of Texas we highly recommend this company. They also operate Cottonwood Wine Tours for grown ups so don’t sleep on this opportunity to avoid renting a car and hang out like a local.

This was a wonderful experience. We did the river walk tour. Our guid Matt was awesome. We learned about the history of San Antonio, the people,the buildings, and the river. I highly recommend this tour. We had a great time.

I and my wife took the walking tour with Matthew Garcia (Matt) and he was simply awesome. Great knowledge about the history of this beautiful town. He was extremely professional, funny, knowledgeable very friendly and infact he spent extra 20 to 30 mins over our 2 hrs tours to ensure we saw everything and did not feel rushed. Would highly recommend Texan tours and Matt.

I would highly recommend Texian Tours to anyone planning to visit San Antonio, Texas. I took the Historic Downtown & Riverwalk Tour with Matt in October 2023. Matt was so knowledgeable and friendly. The group consisted of only my four friends and myself. Everyone in the group remarked on what a great communicator Matt was. He personally emailed each of us prior to the tour date and responded promptly to messages the day of the tour. He also provided complimentary bottles of water and emergency ponchos. Next time I'm in town, I'll be sure to schedule a wine tour with his company, Cottonwood Tours, and to visit his wife's shop in La Villita.
