What a fun place! I am an absolute novice so took a one time wheel class and it was great! Made a pot which I was quite proud of and had great instruction and support from the leaders. On my way home I looked up more classes and signed up for the Ghosts! Again, the session did not disappoint and was a great way to send time with friends. This place so is warm and welcoming, no matter your ability. Perfect for fun activities with friends, families, and/or dates and will definitely be back! Sorely tempted to take it up a notch and sign up for the multi session workshops - so watch out Edmund de Waal, I’m coming for you! ;)

I'm a huge fan of everything Throwin Gold represents! Extremely supportive of everyone that comes in contact with them. They are just as positive and supportive to a beginner as to a seasoned clay person. Same goes for their metal working studio! Can't say enough positive stuff!

Throwin’ Gold Studios has been my pottery school, home, and workspace for nearly two years. I return each month because the owners, instructors, students, and other studio members are warm and inviting. I have learned so much and feel very encouraged in my ceramics journey by everyone at Throwin’ Gold. The studio boasts all of the tools one needs to create art from the materials to the joyous atmosphere and mutual support in the studio community. I highly recommend this studio to anyone interested in exploring pottery for the first time or looking for a home in which to make great art.

Thrownin' Gold is amazing! The community you get at this studio is the best. I moved from Philly and was so happy to find a studio that was welcoming and takes the time to include everyone. After, taking workshops and other classes from other ceramic locations around the country, I love how they run things. I have now also been introduced to metalsmithing from them and excited to explore and work on both ceramics and metals.

Love this place.... great culture, and support at any level! Was able to successfully make a hand built functional coffee mug - Michelle is a great teacher and super patient! Not to mention they have great events showcasing all their potters! I enjoyed getting to know them and shopping for gifts ( and myself)!!! Can't wait for the next shopping event!!

Amazing experience! Incredible artists to learn from and the classes are incredibly well run with lots of different crafts and styles to try! I didn't feel intimidated or rushed in any of the process. Scheduling was easy, the owners are kind and super helpful! Will definitely be back for their pottery sales and other classes and date nights! Be sure to schedule in advance - classes do fill up because of how great they are!

Michelle is an amazing teacher. She is so patient and really wants you to succeed. You can feel her passion and energy when she's teaching. The atmosphere of the studio is welcoming, Michelle and her husband do a great job of making you feel like you can do anything!

Took a one night class and had so much fun! They have a variety of classes but this was just to get our hands wet. Highly recommend!

This place is absolutely amazing!!! My husband and I did the one time experience class as part of our date night. Michelle was our instructor and I can’t tell you how awesome she was! Everyone in the studio is great, very welcoming, and makes you feel at home! I was a little nervous at first but Michelle was so great that quickly faded. I am recommending to everyone I know! Absolutely wonderful time!Update: just picked up our items and I’m in love with the final results! Not only are they gorgeous but they hold great memories 💕Update#2- signed my daughters up for the kids summer classes and they completely enjoyed the experience and can’t wait to go back!Such a great place!
