Jacob is the bomb! He is so personable and friendly! It doesn't hurt that he's so good looking and friendly! What an asset to your team! He should be your customer service representstive.

I stopped by purely because of the good reviews, but Anaqua ended up being the place I liked the least out of all the places I visited during my San Antonio trip.

Pros:
-A lot of seating
-Nice bartender (but awkward host who did the seating)

Cons:
-Cobwebs all around the legs of the patio furniture
-Got over a dozen mosquito and bug bites which made it hard to enjoy food/drink/lounge (there should be basic fly swatter fans on the tables, and it was very annoying swatting flies away from my drink and food every 2 seconds)
-Not enough fans to cover the different parts of the patio
-My drink came WARM
-I came during "happy hour" on a Thursday and was not offered any kind of happy hour menu

We were staying at the hotel across from the Plaza, and this restaurant came up on a google search. The ambience was great as its bar connected to the pool area. Janna took care of us provided amazing service. For food we ordered the Guacapoke, the Red Snapper Ceviche and the Lobster Street Corn. Food came out quickly and was very delicious. Since it’s an outside patio, it was very dog friendly.

The bartender Drew is amazing! He recommended the Margaritas in Mexico and the Guacapoke, which were so delicious! The won ton chips were so good! We also had the Brisket Bao buns. They were to die for. 10/10 Mm! We were on staycation for Fiesta but the atmosphere here made us feel like we were on vacation.

Great atmosphere. It was a lovely February evening with good ventilation and temperature for a February evening. The music is a funky beat and easy to talk over, a bit like EDM. A man named Drew served as my bartender and Alex does a great job of managing the place. Thanks Drew and Alex. The “Out Past the Orchard” is a yummy cocktail. A mule-type drink made of Brush Creek vodka, spiced apple, lime, and ginger. $15.

We had a great experience at Anaqua Bar thanks to Jessica. She was super nice, welcoming, and made us feel taken care of from the start. We ordered margaritas and they were really good — perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. Jessica’s service made the whole visit even better. Definitely recommend her if you stop by!

Love this place. The 2 outdoor sections make you escape San Antonio, feels like you’re on vacation somewhere. Right now has been the perfect time to experience it before that brutal Texas heat that I’ll never get used to. As for Corrine I’ll do a separate review…they need to layoff the strong chemical scent. Feels like those mall stores that dump a bottle of perfume/cologne on the floor.

The atmosphere is amazing-love the lamp lights around the outdoor area and lights hanging from the trees. Crab tostadas tasted great - good appetizer. Drinks were also good (Tepache for strangers and Margarita’s in Mexico. Bartender Justin was helpful and very friendly. We will return.

Stopped by Anaqua bar to have a quick meal before work. Santiago provided excellent service with his friendliness and timeliness. He made recommendations for non alcoholic drinks as well as delicious dishes. The Lobster Street corn dish was fantastic. Highly recommend

Justin and Michael (bartenders) thank you so much for a wonderful experience! The atmosphere transports you to a tropical beach club. Beautiful garnishes and delicious cocktails. The food was consistent with the theme. Everything tastes wonderful, fresh, and fun to enjoy. Great things to come for Anaqua!

Michael, Margo, and Justin were very helpful in picking good food and drinks! Super relaxing and fun bar to hangout and have a few cocktails! Loved the tangerine & me cocktail.
