Went to listen to music, Music was good. Beer was WARM on July 4th.

This ignorant employee from the Shilos truck came up to me to tell me I can't smoke a cigar when I'm 30 get away from everyone else. She tells me the propane tanks and their grill had a much closer town to their tanks than me. She then pulls out family friendly and there's ZERO kids in sight. I hate stupid people who just see something they didn't like when it's not bothering anyone else but hurts their pride. Great job getting to one star from a five star review by just being a jerk and running it for all of us. Guys I'm not gonna have my birthday here next month after all.

Fun little area for some put put. My toddler was a bit to young to understand the game but he enjoyed his time. There was love music that was really nice to listen to and the bar and food truck had great offerings. I highly suggest those pickle bombs!!!

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your visit, but my family's experience was very different. We actually appreciate the Christian music because it's positive, family-friendly, and creates a welcoming atmosphere. The music is never forced on anyone, and it's simply part of the business's environment, much like any other establishment choosing a particular style of music.
Our family comes here to have fun together, and we've always found the atmosphere enjoyable and respectful. While not everyone will share the same preferences, it's unfair to suggest that a business shouldn't be allowed to play music that reflects its values. We will definitely continue visiting and recommending this place to friends and family.

Visited today (Sunday) with my family, and we had a great time. I especially appreciated that the music was family-friendly and included a variety of upbeat Christian songs.
It’s honestly surprising that, in today’s environment, something like this becomes a point of criticism—especially on a Sunday when the staff is working hard to provide a fun experience for families like mine instead of attending church themselves.
During our visit, I actually witnessed one individual in a group making negative comments about the music, while everyone else in her group was clearly enjoying it—and even dancing along.
Thank you, Cool Crest, for standing firm in your values and not compromising your beliefs despite the outside pressure and intimidation that you faced. I applaud how professional the manager handled the situation and hope she never has to endure something like that again.

97 year old golf course - had a family celebration of 80year old's birthday, and it was a great experience. Friendly staff and fair prices.

we had a GREAT time!
the place was chill so relaxed we had a blast. took my son's for a play date and us parents probably had more fun than the kids lol. it got a little warm and that was the kids compliant but this is Texas and these air condition babies are a little soft. it was great to get them outdoors instead of going to an indoor miniature golf place. the attendant was friendly and explained the courses, the other patrons were friendly, again very relaxed. I will definitely go back and would recommend this lovely miniature golf course. the prices are reasonable $12 adults $10 kids. it's an older establishment but it has been cared for. we were too busy having fun so I only took one picture

Went in the evening, and there was a great band Evolution. Nice put put course . Food truck with finger food. Beer was a little pricey but had a decent selection. Would definitely go back.

Great pool lots of room, you don't feel overwhelmed by the crowd. Beautiful atmosphere bring your picnic or cooler just no glass containers

A San Antonio treasure, historic and always fun. Clean affordable and more challenging than folks may think. I 💗 putt-putt and this is a great place for families, and even a fun date night. The family run Biergarten in back is a bright and welcoming outdoor space, with the occassional band and a small stage. Lots of friendly people there too.

A very cool piece of history, it feels like stepping into a time machine when you come play here. Most of the course is shaded and the 1929 side even has a hole where you use an actual wedge for a chip shot, never seen anything like that at a mini golf place. Blessed to live in this neighborhood, I bring a friend here once a month!

Been playing mini-golf here since 1974 even though I no longer live in San Antonio. My wife and I travel here at least once a year for a game or two. Awesome courses. Always great staff. San Antonio at its absolute finest. There are some wonderful things in life that never change, and Cool Crest has been one of them.

Great time on the 1929 course. Holes are interesting but no frills. Beer garden was a nice surprise as well.

Note it’s not very shaded so it can be hot during the day

We visited this establishment for the first time last night and it was so much fun!!! The challenging course was super fun. The sushi was delicious. Mario at the bar is very welcoming and friendly. The employees were all very attentive and friendly. There was an all women Cumbia band and dancing because there is a dance floor and a stage that adds a nice touch to the whole atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting this place again.
