One of the best nights, excellent treatment from the staff in general, from the manager to the waiter, made our date a special night. Thank you very much 🙏 The cozy place was very special, the wine was delicious and the dinner was awesome

Absolutely amazing experience! I came here after their main restaurant was closed, and let me tell you—they do not slack. The food is top-tier, and the drinks are just as impressive. Brandon and Jenny went above and beyond to make my visit unforgettable. I’ll admit, I was skeptical at first because it seemed like more of a bar atmosphere, but they completely exceeded my expectations. Everything was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Superior customer service. Bobby and Brandon went above and beyond to take care of our large group. I have celiac and need strictly gluten free and they took it very seriously, verified my order with the chef to ensure safety and I didn't get sick at all. I ordered the paella. Great atmosphere too.

Choose the place because it was a short walk to the majestic theater to see Tina Turner Show (which was great)Walking into the hotel, there was no sign showing any directions which would have helped instead of hunting for the restaurant. Other than that the atmosphere was great service was great. Shepherd’s Pie 😌

My husband & I got into town a little late. I googled this place so we walked over. The bar and kitchen were closing in 30 minutes but were kind enough to let us order a full meal. Everything was super tasty. Drunks were amazing. Definitely try the berry bramble. Shepard pie & empanadads were our fave. Bartender was super friendly and attentive.

Stumbled into this place while on our short trip to San Antonio - we haven’t been able to stop raving about it! I mean the bread, appetizers, the meat, and Ester’s service was superb! Best “higher end” meal we’ve had all month.

The wait here to get food is way too long and the food was undercooked, will not be back! Save your money and go elsewhere much better places around. We only went here because it was close to Majestic.

Piaya is creative, allowing for customization. Enter through hotel, arrival can be confusing with vacinity to Acenar another restaurant.

This place is fire especially the cheese and fish. Also try the Sheppard pie and the bar menu- bar menu is cheaper and you get a pretty good portion at the fraction of the price. Get the salad with the pecans and walnuts and add the shrimp- the shrimp are amazing. Stay away from octopus the white beans are lacking and too much greens in there, octopus is okay but portion kinda small.

Arrived late from my flight, got there 10 minutes before they closed the kitchen. Super friendly and willing to serve, even a last second customer on a Sunday night. Food was delicious. The hotel bar attached serves some of the best whiskey and mescal cocktails I've EVER had

Finally stopped in Samuel Maverick’s. The upstairs bar was closed Mon-Tues, but not required for a whiskey flight…..I personally like the Barrel Proof whiskey, but I tried several products. This place is really cool being in the old Lockwood Bank building downtown close to the Alamo.
