What makes it fun
Dough Pizzeria Napoletana was first introduced to the San Antonio community by Doug and Lori Horn in November of 2007. When they were considering what kind of pizza they wanted Dough to be, they decided to take inspiration from Italy, more specifically Southern Italy. They were certain that they wanted an oven imported from Italy, the menu to be centered on food from southern Italy, and the wines to be all Italian. They wanted Dough to be everyone's go-to location for their pizza and house-made mozzarella desire, regardless of whether people grew up in Italy, have gone there, or just enjoy Neapolitan-style pizza. This is because they believe that pizza is best when it is produced in the style of the region it comes from.
