The very small portion of beef that was served in my taco tasted old and had an off taste as if it was not fresh and overcooked. I was with a friend so I didn't want to make a big deal about it but I will not take another friend to this restaurant.

I was very excited for my first visit to Fridas! I wanted to give it a try but I was sooooo disappointed. First of all, the air conditioning was out and the manager apologized but I thought maybe it is not so bad. San Antonio had restaurant week where restaurants can show off there menus in a smaller version. So I went to try it during this event. I ordered ceviche and it was two raw shrimp with avocado on the side. I could not eat it because I thought it would make me sick (see picture). I ordered the salmon and was told I could not order that and so I ordered the shrimp with pasta (see picture). I told the waiter I could not eat cream so this is what they brought me. Then, my husband ordered the chicken dish. It was disgusting and tasted like lighter fluid.

This place is completely overpriced for the food they serve. We came last year and loved it. We came back today and it went completely downhill! The empanaditas were my favorite but today the beans were dry and cold. My margarita was watered down. My husband's steak was nothing but fat. The tacos were basically quesadillas. The salmon was overcooked. The manager did try to make things better by giving us 1 free meal and a fresh margarita but the last straw was the bathroom conditions. Both bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and smelled horrible! Another review said they need bar rescue and I couldn't agree more! We will never come back! If you're looking for good food with a great atmosphere go to La Fonda on Main, we have never had a bad experience there and the food and drinks are always on point. Stay away from this place!

first and last time here, EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. i came for the restaurant week, 45$ for 3 courses + 10$ for a cocktail. i got guacamole for an appetizer, they barley put some on the plate , the chicharrone on top was also stale. the drink took around 20 minutes to come. the main course which was a steak, was just okay. the papas were below average as well as the vegetables. i got arroz con leche was very good except i barely got any. service was also not that good, i felt as if the waiter didn’t want me there/felt rushed. i am unsure how the regular menu items and prices fare but i do not recommend!

This place has potential but are always out of everything. They show 7 draft beers on the menu and have 1, they are out of half the dishes. Same story every time we come, avoid it. Half of he items on website menu aren't offered anymore.

Really enjoyed our brunch here today! We were seated promptly and got great service all the way through. Food and drinks were delicious and the whole restaurant is really cute. We will be back!

Went here for our Anniversary dinner and the place is awesome. Food is great and the drinks are on point!!! We had the Ceviche and Duck Flautas (sorry no pictures) which tasted so good, for me having duck for the 1st time, I wouldn't have even known it. Atmosphere was also good, guy doing his solo karaoke did a good job with his song choices. The Mojito and Cantarritos drinks are so good as well, everything you would expect of a drink. Staff is also very friendly and attentive. Food is a bit on the pricier end but it's well worth it!! Highly recommend to try this place....Can't forget the Churro Cart, comes with a strawberry jam, cajeta, chocolate, and frosting as toppings for the churros. 😋

I was pleasantly surprised by Frida and the staff. The atmosphere, food menus, and execution were very well thought out. The food was terrific, and the waitress was wonderful. I will be going back to try their dinner menu.
