Since it's opening in fall of last year, Hopscotch has found great success in providing the San Antonio area with another creative outlet for people to visit and walk out feeling inspired. Bought 2 tickets for my fiancee and I to do this Sunday night around 6pm. I wouldn't currently really recommend it at the current price of about $25 per person. For $10 more you can get a Groupon for Ripleys, Illusion Lab, 4D theater, AND the wax museum, which was exceptional and worth every penny. That being said, let's break it down: -The GOOD- -The staff is friendly and nice. -The music "Happiness" room is something I could've done for hours -The gay maze is pretty -The bag igloo is neat -The secrets booth is interesting -The dingle dangle light room is very nice -The bar does have a few non-alcoholic options, but we didn't try anything -The trampoline is sort of fun. It's pretty and the floor material is unique. -Plenty of hand sanitizer stations THE BAD -The price vs value, a lot of the exhibits were just "there". Maybe it's what you make of it and I'm sure someone else would enjoy this a whole lot. -It seems exhibits change so you won't see everything in people's photos. -They let too many in at once, including hacking kids who run around and scream and bump into you. I wish they had adult hours after a certain time where kids weren't allowed. I also think they should throttle how many are in at once because it ruins your immersion and experience to both wait in lines and have a line waiting behind you. It didn't seem crazy busy either, but yet it felt like I always had 6 people waiting behind me to use an exhibit or that I was waiting behind 6 people. I don't mind waiting, but it kills the vibes and the crazy, germy kids definitely kill the vibes. Yes, kids should get to enjoy things too, but maybe offer adult only hours after a certain time every day. -I sweat through it all, some rooms are stuffier than others, with the bag igloo being much warmer. I know, I know, it's Texas, they probably can't help that too much . There is AC, but I was still a sweaty mess. -The gift shop really hikes prices and seems to have a substantial card fee. My $35 order was suddenly nearly $40. -Some things were out of order, but it didn't really ruin the experience either. - There's a lot less than you think..there's the basement with maybe 15 exhibits max and then the upstairs for the trampoline room. I expected a few floors but I was mistaken. -A good amount of exhibits were just "stare at this colorful wall" type things. I don't know why a waiver is required, maybe the trampoline? -No allergen info (at least for gluten) at the snack bar. Of course, some things are obvious like cookies but living with my lady has taught me you really never know where gluten will be snuck in. Overall, it was okay. We came upstairs too fast and didn't realize that was end game until we thought it'd be weird to ask if we could go back downstairs. Then we also agreed there wasn't much super worth returning back downstairs for. We spent under an hour total here, even with the gift shop , and it cost me $90 or so with the gift shop. I'd go if you could get a discounted ticket or if someone else is footing the bill. Otherwise, definitely DO the wax museum, Illusion Lab, and Ripley's a bit closer to the Alamo. We spent about 5 hours there with maybe 10 mins of it being gift shop time, and left feeling like it was VERY worth it. When comparing the two, probably unfairly, I'm left feeling like I should've just had us go there again instead.

Love this place! We had 4 kids there from ages 2-12 and everyone enjoyed it. Can’t wait to go back!

Best thing we did in San Antonio (which is saying a lot. San Antonio is a great city!). The kids had so much fun. I had to drag them out of the ball pit.

Wooooowwwwwww!! This place is a vibe. Very artsy, fun, and awesome exhibits. Will definitely go back when I'm in San Antonio again!

Amazing store for bakers! My daughter and I found all the supplies we needed! Customer service was top-notch! I love that they have different classes to learn new skills or improve on skills you already have.

Online ticket purchase and check out was great and easy. Checking in was easy. Parking was nearby Travis Parking Garage. And you get a discount at the gift shop for parking when you take them your parking pass. The exhibits were great! Our entire family enjoyed it. Our kids loved the ball pit.

Nice place to take the kids and get some fun pictures. You can easily see and do everything within 30-45minutes.everyone took turns and stood in line maybe a 2 to 3 minute wait while the group ahead took their pictures. The kids love the glow in the dark ball pit area.they did have a bar/drink lounge in the main lobby.but no food.

AMAZING experience! Get tickets and go! This was so much more than I ever anticipated. It's so well done, so well thought out. Loved it. N/A drinks were great, and my H's cocktail too.

This was a unique and wonderful experience! My daughter and I took a break from wedding planning and found ourselves here and thank goodness we did. It was unusual and therapeutic and just what we needed to rejuvenate our senses. We had drinks in the lounge and took our time through the many exhibits and had a great time together.
