Hugman's Oasis

The decor is next level. Skulls everywhere, rich textures, moody lighting, and serious adventure vibes that honestly reminded me of Indiana Jones in the best way. Every corner feels intentional and layered, which is exactly what a great tiki bar should be.

The drinks were strong and very well made, exactly what you hope for in a proper tiki spot. The appetizer snacks were also excellent and paired perfectly with the cocktails. Easy to order a few and settle in for a while.

The only minor disappointment was that they were out of their distinctive tiki mugs, which I collect from different tiki bars around the country. That said, it sounds like more are coming soon, so that just gives me an excuse to return.

This is an absolute must go in San Antonio. Incredible atmosphere, fantastic drinks, great snacks, and one of the most immersive tiki experiences around. Hugmans Oasis is doing it right. -Jared Guynes

The atmosphere of this one was excellent and the drinks were decent.

But... the service was awful. Probably the slowest I've experienced at a tiki bar. We had to ask to be served, from getting menus, to ordering drinks, to getting the check etc. I even asked about buying their branded mugs and the server never ended up taking the time to show me the products. Additionally most of the bartenders did not appear to be having an enjoyable time.

I would skip this tiki bar, simply due to the lackluster service.

The selection of glasses is great and sitting at the bar is the best way to see the drinks made right in front of you.

Small selection of bar food. The spam musubi roll (two small pieces) is good, if a little too small.
