The pictures are not what you are getting . Not even close to what your getting . What you actually get is not worth paying more for . You can book a holiday inn express or similar and get the same quality at a fraction of the price . After reading the reviews ( which I should have done but hey I thought Hyatt is a respectable brand) they know they are deceiving ppl. Also don't fall for the time share pitch which is not appreciated for how much we paid to stay here

Upon checking in I asked for an upgrade since this is commonly allowed with my status as a Hyatt member… the manager told me it would be nearly $400 more for the two night stay.. I declined and kept my room. Apparently they don’t recognize any status here because it’s a “timeshare” hotel and not an actual Hyatt. The rooms were big and spacious however they were dirty. The bathroom floor wash absolutely disgusting as if they hadn’t cleaned it in months. It smelt like mold. There was a constant banging noise all hours of the day and through the night. The bed on the pullout sofa had a huge defect in it as if there was a sink hole in one part which made it nearly impossible to sleep on that side. The front desk manager was super rude. When we got there we quickly realized this property was no where near the Hyatt quality we have stayed before and we immediately wanted to check out and go down the road to the actual Hyatt property. The front desk girl was very sweet but she had to get her manager who quickly became rude and said that this is a timeshare unit not an actual Hyatt. Which I had no clue when I booked this place with my Hyatt rewards! So that they would not refund any credit for us to leave. I called Hyatt and they said that this has become a common complaint they have been hearing and that they’d contact the property themselves. After they talked to the rude manager who’s clearly on a high horse.. they informed me that she had declined our request and that Hyatt themselves couldn’t do anything.Do yourselves a favor and stay at Marriott Country Hill Resort or the Hyatt Country Hill down the road. The Hyatt down the road had a very nice property and an amazing breakfast buffet. The Marriott Country Hill was very clean and had tons to do and they were professional and attentive not to mention the views up on the hill were amazing! Keep in mind at this current time Marriotts lazy river is closed.

A large resort located in a residential suburban setting. Property is expansive and looks like it has plenty of room for expansion. Individual units are beginning to show some signs of dating but they are clean and include most of the amenities one could think of. Beds and pillows are excellent. Bathrooms are large and include shower necessities (soaps, gels, shampoo, NO lotion), and also a cosmetic mirror in each . Kitchen appliances are showing their age but are all (mostly) in working order. Of slight annoyance is the lighting, or I should say, lack of lighting. The bedrooms and bathroom lights are exceedingly dim. If you're looking to read, you may have to do so in the kitchen/dining room area or on the patio. The main registration building is beautiful; the decor certainly befitting of the Texas area. There is a restaurant and bar on the property should you not want to leave the property. A large indoor/outdoor pool area is located in the center of the resort with numerous hot tubs dotted nearby. A very nice touch are both a steam room and sauna situated in the rec/pool area (of which I partook on a daily basis). Water slides for kids (and a few of us adults), a nice lazy river, and a children's activity center are all close by. There is also a primitive nature trail surrounding the resort for a nice little change of pace. Numerous deer were sighted during our stay. Our visit was in the late Fall so this review is probably not indicative of what activity might be like when at full capacity during the summer months, but during our week there were few people utilizing the facilities. From Thursday on it became noticeably busier. We have been Hyatt owners over 20 years but this was our first visit to Wild Oaks Ranch. It is certainly an inviting location for families with young children as many of the outside options and activities are geared towards them. The families we encountered appeared to be having a wonderful time at the lazy river and pool areas. The resort is relatively close to downtown San Antonio (a 20 minute drive at most) yet feels secluded and peaceful. I recommend Wild Oak Ranch as a nice location for families looking for a large, fun and safe place to spend a relaxing week enjoying the water and sun.

Stayed here for a couple of days while attending my Daughter's graduation at Ft Sam Houston. This is an awesome place for kids and adults to enjoy the water and have some fun. Rooms are top notch. The only issue would be the food is really expensive on the premises. Might consider eating at more reasonable priced off the premises.
