+ Beautiful Room, with great style+ Lobby is nice, but small- Room Service has as terrible menu- Terrible restaurant options around the hotel- Ugly area around the hotel- Valet Parking is like $60 a night

THIS HOTEL WAS AMAZING AND THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!! It may seem a little overpriced but it's totally worth it.

Lovely hotel on the less crowded Museum Reach section of the San Antonio Riverwalk. I was able to walk along the river to get to both The Pearl and the San Antonio Museum of Art. Nice touches at this hotel like hoodie robes, a self-guided in hotel art tour, Bluetooth stereo in the room, and complimentary granny smith apples for a healthy snack and Texas Monthly magazine for each guest as well. The aluminum water bottle with refill stations offering still or sparkling water on each floor was great too. Highly recommend cocktails and appetizers at sunset at The Moon's Daughters, the hotel bar on the 20th floor. Dinner at hotel restaurant Landrace is a must too.

Enjoyed our staycation. Excellent hotel, amazing rooms, excellent customer service from staff and the restaurant. The only negative thing was that we had an incident with valet and damage to our vehicle to which they aren't cooperating in getting this addressed as we expected. The hotel should hold them accountable to higher standards as they operate as a third party and not directly linked to the Thompson.

Well appointed room in a great location. We stayed in the Thompson suite which is a generously sized and well appointed suite with views of the city.The breakfast at Landrace is good but a little expensive. Lunch, snacks and drinks at Cenote were great and they stock Botanist gin which is my wife’s favorite. We finished the night at the Moon’s Daughters which offers fantastic views if the city as well as great service.The next morning we got massages at the spa which was a great way to end our trip. The room offered panoramic views through one way tinted windows. The staff were accommodating and listened to all requests.We will certainly stay here again.

I left impressed. Marlo and all the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area and the hotel’s amenities. We tried both restaurants during our stay. Watching the sunset from the 20th floor was magical. The pool area was clean and a perfect way to end the day. Definitely enjoyed the cocktail menu at both Moon’s daughter and the pool bar.

I stayed the weekend for my birthday and this place was great! So many of the associates were just great and professional. Had a spa treatment to kick off the day. Diane did my facial and Nikki did my massage - both were amazing!!! Would definitely book another appointment with them. Although the fire alarm went off during my facial (I know, very relaxing lol) they made every attempt to ensure my experience was still great. We had drink reservations at Moon's Daughter and Cameron was our waiter/server. He was fantastic. Made sure we were fully taken care of. I had a pool cabana rental the next day at 11 a.m., but due to an 'incident' the day prior, we weren't able to use the pool until about 3:30. Although a bummer, it wasn't the hotel's fault, however Taylor and Georgia at the Spa were super apologetic and offered great customer service trying to resolve the issue. At our pool cabana Jackie was our waitress and she was also super apologetic about the incident, but she treated us like royalty and made our day. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Their customer service was exceptional.

Wow! The best experience I have had at any hotel. We stayed while attending a business summit at the hotel. The staff were all great. Personable, friendly, and always willing to help. The food was great. The views at night are spectacular. The rooms are meticulously clean. The complimentary water bottles and refills on each floor were an added plus. Thompson won me over and I look forward to staying at other Thompson locations.
