Beautiful views and recently renovated resort. That said, the pool was not to the standard I would expect for cleanliness. There was trash littered across the main pool area and plastic cups at the bottom of the pool. I noticed lots of ants around the main pool area likely due to the trash and leftover food. It appeared by Monday, after the weekend, they had staff cleaning some of the trash. The basketball courts also was not ideal. One of the nets was ripped off and the pickle ball nets were broken and scattered. We did stay throughout the weekend so maybe the outdoor cleaning staff has the weekends off.

The bellboys had great service but there was a staff member that was very rude and condescending to us when we asked for help about finding where the elevator for the pool was at. We had a baby stroller with us and couldn’t use the stairs and she treated us like we were an annoyance for her even though we only asked a simple question. Things have changed here since the last time we came and I’m not sure if we will be returning.

The room was alright, we got a king suite overlooking the hill country, save your money...get a regular room. We could see a sliver of the golf course and the hills behind it. The food was good but it was a limited menu in each of the restaurants. The spa services were amazing! I took my wife to celebrate her birthday and overall it was very relaxing. The thing that I disliked was the hidden costs. Paying roughly $425 a room for two nights plus tax (city, state, everyone else) should have been enough. I paid $1,123 for two nights (slightly more than the advertised $425, I paid in advance and thought that we were good. After checkout there was an additional $225 added onto the bill for resort fees which also got taxed by all the same entities and $45 per night for the valet. That means that the $425 on the Hilton app actually ended up being more than $600 per night. Save some money, stay at a different hotel but treat yourself to the spa treatment here. Not worth the costs for the stay.

Still a great location and experience. We enjoy the convenient access to the Shops at La Cantera. The hotel restaurants are good, but Signature is a real treat. Reserve ahead as it can be a tricky get. It will be interesting to see how this place changes under Hilton owmership/management. But for now...still a solid choice!

The room was outdated and the bed must've been very old because it gave me hip problems which I never have. I had asked for an upgrade before I came as an add on but when I got there the manager said it didn’t show up so I couldn’t have a nicer room unless I wanted to move to the 7th floor for an additional 150.00 a night. When I did the initial upgrade the room was going to be an additional 49.00 a night. Will not be coming back. The rooms really need updating.

Wow! This place was excellent. The servers were on point. Very friendly and attentive. The portions were huge and tasted great. I had the pork chop and it was literally enough for 3 people. The candied pecan pear salad was delicious! Great place.

The food was incredible! The shrimp and grits is one of the best meals we have ever had! They said it was award winning and it actually was! The red fish was also amazing. The prickly pear margaritas were very very good. They make the guacamole for 2 right in front of you. You can't beat the location or the food. Don't look anywhere else and make a reservation here!
