What makes it fun
In 2014, José and David Cáceres opened La Panadera, a bakery and cafe, so they could share their Mexican roots and love of baking with the people of San Antonio, Texas, where they now live. When they were young boys, the Cáceres fell in love with baking when they sold their mother's fresh-baked bread on the streets of Mexico City. Eventually, José and David took over their mother's small business and started baking bread and pan dulce on a big scale, selling them to businesses all over Mexico. After doing well financially in Mexico, the brothers decided they wanted to get back to basics, so they brought their love of bread culture to Texas.
