buyer beware!!! they charge an automatic gratuity. which is fine as i’m also service industry and sometimes automatic grat is warranted. however, i spoke to the bartender about how low the gratuity is and she never mentioned it being included. only to ask for receipt and see it charged. will not return.

Two things: this bar presents itself as sophisticated but it is not entirely there yet and the service was quite mediocre. Having lived in DC and New York, I was excited to visit a bar that seemed to match the energy and ambience of those cities.

1) There was 1 person at the bar ahead of me and it took me about 15 to get my order in.

2) The extra dirty vodka martini and Maker’s mule that I ordered were unexceptional.

I don’t know how long the bar has been around but it does have potential to improve. The bartenders don’t need to be robots, but a quick smile and nod to patrons is enough and you don’t have to spend minutes entertaining them. This sacrifices order turnaround time and drink quality. I was there last night for the first time and was truly impressed with the service. Kimberly was simply amazing. She provided excellent customer service and was pleasant, friendly, articulate, and wonderful. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Kimberly, and thank you to the security gentleman who was very kind and watched over us as we went down the steps. I didn’t get his name, but his help was greatly appreciated.

We went up to check out Lunatique while waiting for ever to arrive for a birthday party in Easy Baby and I’m so glad we were able to check it out! The ambiance was amazing and the bartenders, Ryan and Dulce, were so friendly and gave great drink recommendations. Can’t wait for the weather to cool down a bit so we can spend more time up there!
