Marriage Island took a lot of the stress of planning our day off our plate, and made our special day amazing beyond our dreams. It was magical. I cannot spot sing their praises enough! And our lovely photographer Mr. Hamilton was immediately like family, he was part of our group like we've know him all our lives. He made posing for pictures fun and romantic. Marriage Island is the route to go for a stress free start to wedded bliss. Thank you !!!!

I loved the service that I received leading up to the wedding and the wedding itself. My coordinator check on me. She checked on my mother, brother and my soon to be husband and his right hand. She was easy to talk to and felt she was easy to related too. Thank you Mrs. Shaunda Sanders for making my day one I will never forget. Definitely recommend to others.

Reviewing as a guest - place is nice but please update your address as when you type in the address 111 Soledad street this I guess is to the Marriage Island office, not the venue. For those trying to find the venue or take a taxi there, use the Hotel Contessa address instead.

The best day of my life was only perfect due to all that Shaunda did to help us get ready! She took care of everything! From the cake, to the minister, live music, helped find the prefect pet friendly hotel, and even booked the photographer (who was phenomenal btw)... the cost for everything was a fraction of what it would have been if I had tried to do everything on my own and it wouldn't have been nearly as amazing. Though I will NEVER need her services again... I think that may the point lol. She made sure I had ZERO stress the day of and I cannot thank her and her employees enough. Yall are sent straight from heaven!! Thank you thank you thank you!!~ Mr & MRS. Wooten! ❤️

If you are looking to propose at the Riverwalk, I highly recommend to do it at Marriage Island. It has a beautiful setting and Shaunda does an excellent job at enhancing the scenery. She ensures to go over all the details with you before you even have to pay. No tricks or hidden fees. The package included decorating the island with “Will you Marry Me” letters, a giant heart made of rose petals, additional roses throughout the island and a professional photographer for an hour. She also was kind enough to take a speaker and play some songs for us that I had requested. Shaunda did an amazing job with coordinating everything and was punctual.Additionally, she provided me with pictures and videos that she captured that same day. Our photographer James was amazing to work with and made my fiancée and I feel comfortable the whole time. I am really happy that I went with Shaunda and Marriage Island to assist with my proposal!

Everything was perfect, the timing and the decorations. Shaunda did an amazing job setting up the location for our proposal and was quick to send all pictures and videos she took. The package included a professional photographer for an hr and he was awesome to work with! He made us feel comfortable and took us to amazing areas around the riverwalk for our photoshoot.Shaunda will take the time to explain every single detail with you and ensure you feel comfortable for your special day. I am so happy my fiancé went with her! This was a perfect and special moment for us.

1st class service all the way. Hired them for our wedding at the Japanese Tea Garden. The officiant was amazingly friendly and professional, and the photographer did an amazing job. We just got the pictures a few days ago and they are amazing.Strongly recommend.

This place is an absolute gem and the perfect place to pop the question and or have your wedding ceremony. My sister’s boyfriend had asked me to help him plan the perfect proposal. Luckily I came across this beauty, this place literally is a one stop shop. Has everything you need from photographer, guitarists or violinist, the set up and of course a coordinator. I can’t thank Shonda & her team enough for helping me plan the perfect proposal for my sister and her now fiancé. She was absolutely amazing to work with, very nice, super professional, so personable, extremely helpful and she was on top of everything to be sure it went perfectly. We don’t live in San Antonio, we were only there visiting my brother so Shonda was really great at explaining everything in detail about the location and everything around it along with suggestions on how to do the proposal. It really helped that we checked out the place before hand when we arrived so we knew exactly what Shonda had explained to us. Seriously, everything turned out perfect and even better than expected. Thank you, thank you so much Shonda & everyone at Marriage Island. I highly recommend them!!!!! Truly the best!!!!!
