Back in 2012, this awesome couple named Pieter and Susan Sypesteyn decided to open up the super popular Where Y'at Food Truck. The truck got a lot of media attention and people loved Pieter's chef-driven dishes, like the New Orleans Barbecue Shrimp. Pieter was born and raised in New Orleans, and he really missed the food from his childhood. Since he couldn't go home, he came up with the idea of bringing that delicious cuisine to San Antonio. New Orleans is bursting with history and a beautiful mix of cultures! You've got the French, Italian Food, and Caribbean influences all coming together to create something truly special. Pieter at Nola Brunch & Beignets knows exactly how to capture those amazing flavors in his food. It's like a delicious celebration of New Orleans.

First time visiting this brunch spot. It was fabulous. The staff greeted my husband and I right away and seated us quickly. I had the bananas foster pancakes. They were sooooo sooooo good. It was very filling. My husband had the NOLA brunch plate. We enjoyed this quaint restaurant and will definitely be returning.

The food always hits the spot. It might take a little longer than usual, but it always delivers. And the beignets are just delightful.

We had a lovely breakfast here this morning! We arrived around 9 am and were seated right away. By 10:30 there were a steady stream of customers. The food is delicious and the service was good. Love the Cafe Ole and beignets!

EXCELLENT! Start to finish. Benny, was a great waiter. Food was amazing. The Big Easy Biscuit was one the best breakfast plates I have ever eaten. GM Steven came to our table. Super nice guy. Food came out really fast and the beignets were excellent. No need to wait in line at Cafe Du Monde. Watch that powdered sugar!

Atmosphere was beautiful. The server was amazing and super nice. Definitely recommend the mimosas! There was about a 35 to 45 minute wait for just 2 so plan accordingly. Beignets were delicious and what they're known for. Would definitely go back. Family friendly and there's indoor and outdoor seating.
