If you're looking for an exact spot on the River Walk to expeience with your partner, then let Ocho to be that place! Eat a Cuban style meal in their outdoor breezway that overlooks the River Walk, enjoy a cocktail in their patio lined with crystal-blue painted arches. (Seriously check it out, it's gorgeous.) Located aside Hotel Havana, this restuarant its the perfect dinner for before or after a nice walk along the river. Make sure to get a reservation for this spot because with a place this pretty and perfectly located, others will surely have called in advance.

As a Cuban-American, this place feels like home. As my heart soars, this place has the most Drag Brunches! Y’all, not only is the chef renowned for their work, but they truly live up to expectations! The performers were jaw dropping and the breakfast was breathtaking! On top of that, the mimosas have that good champaign!!! I am looking forward for the drag brunch on the 15th!!!

This restaurant/bar was located right next to the venue. We checked it out before the show for some drinks and even though it was reservations only the bartender kindly accommodated us and the drinks were soooo good! Didnt check out the food but highly recommend for drinks and service from my experience

I came with my Cuban buddy and he hated it, nothing traditional on the menu. But I'm not a Cuban and I believe the food was acceptable, even tasty.

The vibes are excellent. Beautiful space along the riverwalk. Food was tasty but not like mind blowing. The breakfast torta was scrumptious. The pancakes were a little decadent and missing some texture elements. Fun to try.

I visited for brunch with a friend on a Sunday. We walked in with an outdoor reservation and waited 15 minutes at the bar before being seated by the overwhelmed barista inside. We then waited another 15 minutes before a waiter arrived and another hour before receiving our half full coffee in "to go" cups. The food was good and the overworked staff members were friendly but we will not be returning. Also as a side note if setting inside, the echo is extremely loud. I sincerely hope they treat the staff better in the future.

This place is vintage, and with its dark academic style, it's so cool. It's right off the River Walk, and the dim lights cast a nostalgic atmosphere. The bar is downstairs, and its "old school basement party dark," red lights and all. I dig it!The bartender in the basement makes a mean mojito.The food is very good. The bathrooms are outside in a building next to the restaurant, and maybe the kitchen. They do have a parking lot. If you're in a wheelchair, call ahead to make sure they can accommodate you safely. Make a reservation. I will eat here again. My pictures aren't the best due to the lighting and too many mojitos.

Ok, great views of the River but $14 drinks?. Beer was in the double digits too. Not sure I would pay for the view again. Will have to try the food next time.

Super charming restaurant with it's rustic stone walls and exposed pipes. The food was so so good and the service was even better. The food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. There is something for everyone to like on the menu. The desserts were heavenly! It is a bit on the expensive side but I highly recommend it for the ambiance and the flavorful food.

This place has its own special vibe, your able to see out around you in almost every direction. There are trees and plants around the outside of the restaurant. The river flows in front of you and small little birds hoping from tree to tree. The food was great . We had the meat and cheese plate for appetizer followed by the Calle ocho NY steak and the banana nut bread with ice cream for desert. There mojitos were a bonus!

Most definitely a "special occassion" location. Expect higher prices than you might expect. 2 ppl. Appetizer, - Hummus, Main Course - Pan Seared Red Snapper & Full rack of lamb, Shared Desert combo, chef inspired. included fresh strawberries & Creme, Churros with chocolate sauce and apple cinnamon empanadas, 4 total drinks ( 2ea.)Perfect for that very special occassion. Went on a weekday had zero wait time, called same day to make reservation @ 5 pm.Bonus, close proximity to the Tobin Ctr. for events.Food was amazing, services was on point and courteous, we took our time weren't rushed. 90 minute meal and conversation, intimate table, riverside, downtown San Antonio. Treat this as the experience it is. Big love for the creativity of the Chef.

What a gem! Teases every sense; vision, taste, smell. Loved every single meal we had here. The street tacos were out of this world. Our server was amazing! Unique, fabulous experience.
