Excellent experience, the staff was outstanding, front desk manager Rina very professional, friendly and kind the rooms were clean and comfortable, bellboys Mishu and Ramsmed very helpful.

Rina was AMAZING! From the moment we arrived, she was so sweet, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable, and her kindness made such a difference in our trip. You can tell she truly cares about the guests and takes pride in making people feel comfortable and appreciated. Now getting to the hotel it was beautiful and the room was great! Best sleep we’ve had in a long time! We will stay here next time we come back. The entire staff is sweet. Kudos to whomever does the hiring! What a wonderful experience! I will forever be an Omni La Mansion Del Rio guest anytime I’m in San Antonio! I booked a stay here with two of my coworkers for a business convention nearby and every little detail after that point was an elevated experience. From the personal phone call / text to confirm our arrival time, the genuine kindness of the front desk staff (shout out to Rina! So lovely!) there Amazing recommendations for places to see in the city, the stunning, charming and luxurious room we stayed in, even to the moment we checked out and valet came to carefully bring all of our things to the car and pack it in for us…if I could give them 10 stars I would! everyone who works here was genuinely such a delight, the whole property is absolutely beautiful and unique, they were extra accommodating, we felt so cared for. I have already told my friends, clients, and family that this is the only place to stay in San Antonio! Can’t wait to go back!

We absolutely LOVE this hotel!!! The location is perfect. A 5 minute walk to the Alamo, 15 minute walk to the historic Mercado and right on the Riverwalk so you have access to all the bars and restaurants that are there. Beautiful rooms and great pool. We will stay here again on our next trip to San Antonio.

My husband and I spent two nights there with a balcony room to celebrate the end of my chemo treatments. It was a wonderful experience. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the spa was just what I hoped it would be. It was the perfect indulgence.

For what Omni properties are aspiring to be, this one falls short. A hotel experience of this caliber is not just what is in the pictures online to get you to book, but in every detail of the experience to ensure your stay is as pleasant and frictionless as possible. This property has a few killer flaws that lead me to not recommend staying here. First, the positives. The location is ideal, centrally located off one of the most scenic portions of the Riverwalk and 2 blocks from the Alamo and most other San Antonio landmarks. The hotel has great architecture and common areas such as the lobby and pool area feel like you are transported to a time and place a world away. Now, on to the issues. I booked a "Deluxe" room. All rooms of this type require you to enter the room through a set of french doors which double as the window to the room. There are wall-to-wall curtains in the room behind the doors. It is nearly impossible to close the curtains as you are leaving the room keep privacy of your personal belongings while you are not there. It seems that most guests gave up, as you can see all of the curtains open to rooms as you walk down the hallways. I discussed my concerns with the Front Desk and received the most dismissive customer service in my life. Receptionist simply said "that's the way these rooms are and we cannot do anything about it, it's an old hotel." Did not attempt to offer any resolution. Meanwhile, the photos online are strategically angled to avoid to seeing this door setup. To make things worse, my room opened to an interior corridor, so I had a view of a wall and it made the room extremely dark. The room had a severe lack of lightning - only one lamp between the beds (which flickered once on) and a task light at the desk. I had to ask for another lamp, which the staff promptly provided. Feels like you're in a jail cell. Other elements worth mentioning - the elevators are cramped and slow, and the muffin served at El Colegio was the worst I've had in my life - tasteless and right out of the freezer. Do better Omni or get your name off this property.

This is an old hotel we’ve gone to my entire life and my mom and dad honeymoon here in 1978. It is OLD so don’t expect Mokara- that being said it is beautiful and cozy and everyone was beyond kind. The location was great and if you don’t want noise ask for 6th floor not on River. It is a great stay and the rooms were updated nicely for a SUPER OLD HOTEL- the rain down shower was great. The bar was great. We really liked it here a lot but don’t cry if it’s old it you come lol

Beautiful, historic, and the kindest staff from the front desk right down to the valets. We just stayed at the Omni La Mansión del Rio and I can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, everyone was amazingly courteous and helpful — and I mean everyone, right down to the valets who made coming and going effortless. Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and we had a balcony overlooking the River Walk surrounded by gorgeous old architecture — sitting out there listening to the river and the music below was something I’ll never forget. The building itself is just stunning; you can feel the history in it and even the pool area is lovely. It’s the kind of place where the setting does half the work and the people do the rest. We had dinner at Ostra our first night and it was consistently beautiful — fresh, full of ambiance, and again, just the nicest people taking care of us. Every detail, inside and out, felt cared for. If you’re looking at hotels on the River Walk, this is the one. You’re right on the water, wrapped in beautiful old San Antonio, and treated like a guest who matters. We’ll be back. Highly, highly recommend.

Charming Historic Gem on the River Walk with Top-Notch Service! Stayed here recently and it was a delightful mix of old-world charm and modern comfort. The Omni La Mansión del Rio truly lives up to its reputation as a beautifully maintained historic property right on the San Antonio River Walk. The Spanish colonial architecture is stunning; think elegant courtyards, warm tones, and that grand hacienda feel that makes you feel like you're stepping back in time, but with all the contemporary amenities you need. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff at check-in was warm and efficient, and everyone we encountered throughout our stay; valets, housekeeping, restaurant team, was genuinely friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make things easy. Shoutout to the valet team especially for seamlessly handling our EV; the complimentary charging stations (managed through valet) were a huge convenience and worked perfectly during our visit. Dining was a real highlight. We visited the Four Brothers, the on-site restaurant, and everything was delicious, from flavorful cocktails to hearty Southern-Texas dishes with Latin influences. Portions were generous, the atmosphere inviting, and the service matched the rest of the hotel: professional yet relaxed. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great bed and plenty of space to unwind. It felt clean and well-appointed overall, though the decor leans a bit darker and traditional, could use a touch more natural light or brighter accents to freshen it up. Still, it didn't detract from a solid, restful stay. Location is unbeatable: dead center of downtown, steps from the River Walk. We would definitely return; it's that rare blend of history, hospitality, and prime location.

We recently stayed at the Omni La Mansión del Rio with our family and had a great experience. The hotel is beautiful, perfectly located on the River Walk, and the staff was friendly and professional. What really impressed us was the customer service—my wife accidentally left her hair dryer and straightener, and the staff contacted us and shipped the items back to our home without any hassle. Outstanding service. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

I stayed at the beautiful Omni La Mansion Del Rio for a week in November and from the moment I arrived at the front desk was treated like royalty. The front desk staff is so very amazing. Their restaurants are the best on the River Walk. Housekeeping was attentive. Everything and everyone was just wonderful. 15 Miles of trails and walkable to everything I wanted to see in San Antonio! Did I mention the staff - they truly made the tripl!

We stayed at your wonderful hotel the end of September and had a great time. Unfortunately, I accidentally left my kindle reader in the room when we departed. Your staff were great to let me know they had found it and I could get it back through shipping since I am out of the SA area. Manuel Barron went above and beyond to return my kindle. I am older and couldn’t set up the shipping as much as I tried. He took it upon himself to print and return my kindle through FedEx and I had it within days. THANK YOU again Manuel Barron! Omni is very fortunate to have such a client-focused employee that goes far above expectations to help a customer. Will always remember my stay at Omni but will never forget the customer care shown by Manuel!!

Extremely friendly welcome and resolution of a small reservation error. Great food. Helpful & friendly staff and housecleaning personnel. Wonderful views from our balcony. Easy access to the Riverwalk and Ostra restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful few days in San Antonio in the heat of summer.

The Omni Hotel was a nice place to stay. We live locally and stayed here for our mini honeymoon experience. The service was great all around however, Amiri one of the Guest Service Managers stood out the most. He made sure that we had a nice stay and had the staff bring us something nice to celebrate our marriage. The atmosphere here are great for couples and families. The rooms were clean and neat. The staff again was extremely helpful and made us feel well taken care of. We enjoyed our time at the Omni and look forward to staying there again soon!

This is by far the BEST hotel in the area! Every single person I interacted with was so friendly, so warm and went above and beyond to do whatever they could to ensure I had a great stay. I've never opened a door to a hotel room and had my mouth drop open I was so surprised. The views were INCREDIBLE (pay for the riverwalk view!) and the room was absolutely spotless. If you're looking for a clean, safe and gorgeous property with the friendliest staff in Texas - it's Omni. I would stay here a thousand times over.

I spent three nights at La Mansion for my birthday 4/14 - 4/17 and had the most beautiful stay. From the warm smiles I received each time I passed through reception to the valet never allowing me to open my own door to the sweet lady that brought my carafe of coffee each morning. Thank you for a level of service not found anymore. I was treated like family and appreciate the nice treat left in my room to let me know you knew it was my birthday. I plan on visiting La Mansion for Memorial Day simply because I absolutely enjoyed the service. My next visit will allow me to enjoy the spa. Once again, I cannot express how perfect my stay was all due to the associates. (wish I had gotten names).
