Great date night spot, the music and vibes were amazing, the talent was incredible and before the show walked around talking to the audience thanking us for coming out for the show, I thought was really nice and special. I had the mango margarita and it was very refreshing and reasonably priced. I would suggest to get there a bit early and order your drink before the crowd arrives, it can get busy.

A small intimate jazz venue. We enjoyed the jazz sound of Drew Simpson. They serve mocktails upon request, which made me happy as I am not an alcohol drinker. Service was attentive.

Maddie at River Sun was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and provided top-notch service from start to finish. She checked on us frequently without ever being intrusive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Her positive attitude and genuine hospitality really elevated the entire experience. The atmosphere here is already great, but Maddie is what makes every trip memorable. Had an amazing time at River Sun! The vibe is perfect! It’s cozy, cute and has great energy without feeling over the top. Plus the live musicians were incredible. I went to celebrate my husband’s birthday with friends, and the service truly stood out. From the owners to the general manager and bartenders, everyone made us feel welcomed and taken care of so we even stayed for the late show. They went above and beyond for our group, even turning ti propane heater on during a chilly night. There’s a food park right next to it with a ton of great options in between sets. Highly recommend for a night out with great music and even better hospitality!

Seriously my new favorite spot on the Riverwalk. Cocktails were on point and the Jazz band was amazing! Perfect way to wind down after a kaotic night. The wall art was captivating, the restrooms were clean and we didn't have to wait long for service. 10 out of 10!!

First impression was slow but it ended nicely!

The place is... hmmm... a fairly casual dive bar offering great, live Jazz music. The strong smell of cleaning products hit us in the face as soon as we walked in. So, it took us a minute to recalculate our expectations for our date night.

This may not be like the *other* upscale Jazz bar nearby - but once we settled in, ordered our cocktails, and chatted with our server, we found ourselves enjoying the lively atmosphere.

The music was fun and fantastic. The service was top notch. The drinks were spot on. Cheers to the friendly staff!

It was a little odd that non-customers were walking in from the back door and exiting straight through the front door - right in front of our "premium" seating space. I guess they just cut through from the back/river area?

Not that big of a deal but noticeable and a little distracting when it's a group of 4 or 5 people.

We'd visit this spot again for the live music and cocktails. It's a good spot to bring friends next time.

I'll leave the bowtie at home and let loose!
We certainly appreciated the fun evening.

What a nice surprise! The Rio Soul Latin Jazz Orchestra was phenomenal! If you have a pure appreciation for Latin rhythms, this is your band. All the musicians are incredibly talented and professional. The staff was very attentive but realize they are working hard to maintain a service standard. It’s small, cozy and exactly the place I needed to listen to some amazing tunes many of which felt carefully orchestrated by the band. As for the staff, Tony was so kind and Diego was so informative. I ordered The Gems and a Lone Star. The presentation was so beautiful of the drink. We sat in the very front and would recommend if you truly love the music. Otherwise sit back a few and enjoy the sounds. Dance floor if you are really feeling it. Highly recommend for the intimacy and as a reminder that the music scene is very much alive in this place. What you won’t get- crowded bar with thirsty pick me ups. No food yet so eat before you go. This place is a nice addition to the underground music scene I love.

What a great place! If you love a chill vibe surrounded by a relaxed atmosphere and wonderful music (who don't), this place is for you. It's not exactly a listening room, but it's an environment that is respectful to the musicians! I give these guys a standing ovation on service and commitment to keeping live music going in our community.
It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.
There is plenty of parking nearby! Although there is plenty of space, seating is limited, so get there early.

Loveeeeee this cool jazz bar! We found it merely by walking around after dinner. The door was open so the jazz music was flowing out and drawing us in. We opted to sit at the bar and the bartenders were very kind. I had a really nice glass of wine!

They also have a patio space at the back that faces the river walk. Decent amount of seating inside. A really really cool joint!

Very chill place with great service. They make some beautiful, experimental cocktails, but they're always delicious. They won't serve you a drink that they haven't tested and approve of.

Very calming atmosphere. The bartender (I didn't catch his name) was great. He made sure we liked our drinks after we ordered. They were amazing. Completely different vibe for being right next to El Camino. I loved it.

Highly recommend this place. I love their creative bar program. Randy does a killer job at making unique and tasty cocktails. I really think this place is super low key rn and a great place to surprise someone with but I guarantee if it hasn't already this place is going to blow up! It is just well thought out.

Amazing drinks if you want a GOOD DRINK this is the place to go! Not only do they look good but taste good too. The food is so tasty even my picky boyfriend enjoyed it! The bartenders are knowledgeable and have excellent service 10/10 spot.

Laid back, great drink options with a creative atmosphere on the museum river reach. Bring your friends including your pets. This is a cruelty free space where you can let go as reflected by the simple but creative menu. This place has good Juju having been gutted to gorgeous with happy vibes.
