Rooms are dated but the location is perfect for easy access to the Alamo, convention center and the River Walk. Highlight was the bar for Happy Hour and after dinner drinks. In particular, Fernando and Emily went the extra mile and let us grab a drink right at closing time without rushing our group. They also helped with dinner recommendations for the next night. Excellent experience!

All the greatness expected from a Marriott property- which is a high bar. Great location, facility, and staff. Next time we’re in San Antonio- we’ll be back.

Great location and pretty decent rooms. Everything else from the elevators to the ice machines are a mess. Also they make you spend $25 for stuff you don’t want, which feels vaguely illegal

Old and the rooms are not worth the cost tbh. There are better hotels on the Riverwalk with better amenities. I was jealous of the Hyatt just across the street with Top Golf in their lobby!

Location is excellent. Right next to the Riverwalk and Convention Centre. Rooms would be better if there was a desk. The executive suite has space enough for a desk. Also the shower/toilet room is tiny.

Came to town for a work conference here, I didn't stay at the hotel but the conference was here. It was a good experience, the banquet rooms were nice and the food served was delicious.

Great hotel and location. The staff at the front desk were super friendly, helpful, and professional. BIG shout out to Nicole, who made our stay very enjoyable and gave great tips for the city. She was friendly and definitely went above and beyond to make our stay top-notch. We'll be coming back and recommending this Marriot to friends, family, and clients.

I booked a room near the elevator, on the 23rd floor or higher, and when I completed the check-in they gave me the room furthest from the elevator on the 22nd floor. I complained and according to the receptionist, all the rooms were full, but it was a lie, the hotel was empty! The service is okay, nothing to highlight, without enthusiasm, everything very rude and a bartender at the bar don’t like to attend customers.(old man) I couldn't open the room doors to the balcony or terrace because an air conditioning motor in the Riverwalk mall roof makes a huge noise, deafening, reason why I requested a room close to the elevators, because they are in the middle of the building away from adjacent facilities.

I stay here often and it’s one of my favorite Marriott properties!! The hotel itself is lovely. The rooms are all very clean and bed comfortable. If you get access to the lounge the staff in there are amazing, snacks fresh, and nice options. If your looking to visit the San Antonio area, can’t go wrong with this hotel

Wife had a conference at the convention center directly across the street, so we paid a bit more to stay close at a full-service Marriott and avoid the 105 degree weather. I'm a Marriott Platinum and booked a standard king room and requested high floor and to face the Riverwalk. Was upgraded to a 27th floor room with balcony that had an incredible view. Check-in was fast and easy with Michelle helping. I didn't actually realize that the room rate I booked had a resort fee that came with a few benefits including a $25 food voucher per day in the restaurants. The food was surprisingly good and service good as well. Platinum elite also gave access to the Concierge Lounge which was lovely. Staff super helpful and again, the food was good. Baked goods made on-site. Only downside was the wifi was pretty rough. I was in a corner room, but had plenty of signal, and it was almost unusable. Likely would have paid their expensive parking fee if EV charging was available. L2 charger in the public garage that is attached, so parked there.

As soon as you arrive, they are ready to serve with very quick Valet parking for your vehicle. I was greeted when I walked in to the hotel by a staff member. Check in was super fast and really easy! In case you forgot anything, there's a small store for drinks, snacks and more right behind the front desk! The bar area is staffed with good food and drink options. They also have a nice open dining area for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is a little small, so plan ahead if you're wanting to relax with other people's children 😆! Walking distance to the mall and restaurants, convenient spots and many more attractions! I'll definitely stay again and maybe enjoy a little more of what I missed this time around!

We loved our room at the Marriott Riverwalk. We were in the second to the top floor. It was a king room that also happened to be a corner room at the end of the hallway. It was really, really nice. We had a beautiful view. We mentioned that it was out anniversary to the young lady that was checking is in and she went out of her way to provide us with something special. My wife came along with me to a conference that u was attending. She loved the hotel and the proximity to bit the Alamo and the Riverwalk. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that asked. The hotel was big, well kept and clean. The meeting rooms were large and convenient. The restaurant was a little lacking, but there are so many other places to eat that it was easy to over look that small weakness.
