What makes it fun

The Scorpion is a natural wine bar, bottle shop, and café serving the surrounding community. The "sun up" breakfast is served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. The "sun down" evening service is available from Wednesday through Saturday and provides a seasonal varied culinary menu that is intended to be enjoyed with wine and good company.

I asked about their special but they charged me the regular price. The food is OK and the place is nice but be aware that you may get overcharged.

I was lured by the delicious design of this place & name before I even knew anything else. Owners are out-of-towners and locals who together, created this enclave of creativity and inspired dining from a previous desert. Very California, but not in a bad way, this brings something different to SA and its emphasis on fresh, creative, different, is sincerely felt. From stopping in for a coffee, to sitting down to eat you're going to get something special and it's going to be a local experience. I recommend highly - and it helps that it's LGBTQ+ friendly too. The co-owner did the design and it's outstanding. The food is FRESH and puts a new spin on traditional and the lovely store next-door has a bunch of things I wanted to buy. Well worth a visit.

The vibes here are really cool I love the atmosphere and the decorations. Wine is very good and they sometimes have live music. Dishes are small shareable plates so good date spot or even for bigger parties too.

What a cool place! We enjoyed a few glasses of wine here before heading out to dinner. Loved the ambiance and coziness of this place. Will definitely be back for more great wine!

Ordered a hot oat milk latte. It was delicious and perfect on this rainy day! The atmosphere is very nice, and the bathroom is well kept and clean.

I love this place amazing food and wonderful cider. Reminded me of Greece all white interior with natural wood accents.

Randomly walked into this place for a quick bite and coffee after yoga…this place was instantly warm and inviting but also very cool and high end at the same time. The cappuccinos were DELICIOUS as well as the chorizo plate. A clean, well lighted place!
