What makes it fun

Did you know that the Rollercade actually dates all the way back to the 1950s? Back then, it was called the Northporte Rollercade. Its name was shortened in 1984. You can't miss the iconic sign out front! It was actually designed by Lionel Sosa back in 1958. It's got these five huge neon circles that light up so brightly. And guess what they spell out? "SKATE"! It's pretty clear what kind of fun goes on underneath those circles, right? The Rollercade has been a go-to spot for families for generations, offering roller-skating, awesome music, and maybe a few bruised knees along the way. Rollercade is like stepping into a time machine straight to the 70s! The place is decked out with neon lights and groovy magic-carpet day-glo swirls. It's a roller disco dream come true!

Been here several times: by myself, with friends & kids…. if this Thursday was my 1st impression, wouldn’t ever go back. Lady at 8pm check in 1) Never asked if I was a hero (teacher btw) so was charged $11.91. ** She was on the phone, clearly multitasking: I decided it wasn’t worth confronting ** 2) Had some entry cash, but was a little short—> Went to tap pay the difference, (but in a sharp, demeaning tone) was told “it’s $3 minimum.” Didn’t know your arbitrary rule. Once again, gave benefit of the doubt. We all have a bad/long days — But someone who skates there A LOT, said that’s her norm Spent money I planned on using at concession, somewhere else on my way home. YIKES

We had my daughter's 17th birthday party. We had a great time. The employees were nice and helpful. Most importantly, the kids had fun.

Really great but there's a lot of very small children and it's hard to skate without tripping over them a few times.

We are coming for the very first time with my family and it’s one of the best experience I have passed on your roller rink. We come from France and I really passed a very good time. Thank you !

We had SO much fun. Everyone dressed 80’s. What a great place to have a birthday party. We had 31 middle school kids in the VIP room. The staff was simply amazing. The space, the decor everything about the room was wonderful and made the party run so smooth! Would recommend this place hands down for any birthday party!

Our family absolutely LOVES Rollercade! My husband and I have been rollerskating there since we were in elementary school and now take our children there to skate! Going to Rollercade has been an awesome family activity that we can all enjoy not to mention the nostalgia we feel every time we walk in there!🥰We also love that it’s family owned by a San Antonio family that opened it in the late 1950’s-early 1960’s (I believe that’s accurate🤞🏼) and is now run by that same couple’s grandchildren!!😱😍 I mean, how many local family businesses can say that?!! We will continue to have our kids’ birthday parties there and patron Rollercade as long as we can physically still skate! 😂 Thank You Rollercade!!💗
