We don’t go to Bohanan’s often; however, it is our go to place whenever we attend a concert at The Majestic Theater, The Aztec, or the Charline McCombs Theatre. We were warmly greeted by the hostess staff, and even got a welcome shout out from one of the bartenders. We opted to eat dinner downstairs, although the menu is limited there.We were immediately greeted by our server and he took our drink order. He quickly returned with our drinks and took our order.My husband and I both opted for the filet with the Parmesan crusted fried. Both steaks were perfectly seasoned and cooked to our liking.Our waiter seemed to be there when we needed him, but not overly so. We also enjoyed the live jazz band. It was the perfect start to a perfect evening.

Of all the fine dining restaurants we have been, Bohanan’s is at or near the top of the list. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here. Our waiter, Juan, was amazingly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. In fact, all the staff at Bohanan’s are so friendly as you make your way to and from your table. All the food we had from start to finish ranged from great to amazing, especially the buttery goodness of their Japanese A5 wagyu strip steak. This restaurant has a sophisticated elegant ambiance and I highly recommend dining here.

Spent the weekend in San Antonio... Spent the day at the zoo in 105 heat... So to say the least...our party of 4 and 1 child was not dressed as we should have been walking into this fantastic restaurant.... The music was on point.... In fact the best music I have heard in a very long time.... More adult scene Street level.. They kindly directed us upstairs... Even though I would have preferred down stairs we did have a small child ... And it was not a place for her it was absolutely the right thing to do... But I can't stress enough the whole vibe of this restaurant from the music to the absolute best service ...The decor....If your looking for a date night .. low light romantic or just a relax girl get away....Take my word for it.. This place is it!!!! I'm in love with it! ❤️ Have fun and dress for the occasion.... outstanding!

Dropped in to have dinner before a show and sat at the upstairs bar for the full menu and WOW, this did not disappoint. This was one of the best meals I’ve had. I ordered the A-5 wagyu filet and it was cooked to perfection along with the sides. The drink pairings were perfect as well and made for a great dining experience. The bartender Mike was epic and made the experience very memorable. I highly recommend Bohanan’s and will be back when I visit San Antonio again.

We took the Yellow Rose Carriage #14 and had a very nice ride around downtown San Antonio. The driver was friendly and informative and the carriage was very nice. The lavender color and flashing lights was quite a hit with our Granddaughter. This is a great way to have fun learning more about the city. Highly recommended.

This place is simply amazing! James took care of us when we dined in and he was awesome! The food is so tasty and made just right! We had the wagyu steak, red snapper, truffle steak frites and heirloom salad. We had the creme brûlée and cheesecake for dessert. This place is a must try!

The food is delicious! I wouldn't recommend bringing small children. The place is very elegant and more appropriate for young adults and up. I think this is a perfect place to celebrate anniversaries and graduations.

My husband and I had a wonderful 6 year anniversary here. The food was delicious. And the service was phenomenal. Anna was our main server and she was very good! I didn’t catch the name of everyone else that was filling our waters and bringing out our food. But there were a lot of people waiting on us. My only disappointment was my 7 oz. filet. My husband upgraded to a wagyu which was beyond delicious but my regular steak was not better than any of the other steakhouses in SA (Bob’s, Myron’s, Kirby’s), in fact it wasn’t as good as other steak houses, and was slightly cold. But everything else was perfect. Next time, I think I would order fish instead.
