    What makes it fun

Eisenhower Park is an incredible place to find yourself at. It is 320 acres on gorgeous Texas Landscape. A green paradise with rocky canyons, dry creek beds, and hill country views. There is endless tranquility to be had and plenty of recreation potential to be discovered. The park even has an observation tower that provides an exceptional view of downtown San Antonio from 1,278 feet high. There are hiking trails throughout for walking about the beauty and dogs are welcome as long as you bring those little baggies for you know what. They take pride in the parks beautiful appearance and want to make sure you do to. Its an amazing place for you and your romantic park pal for life to have a picnic and pop out that proposal question to make for a perfect day.

This is a beautiful hiking spot. It’s a paved trail with scenic views and everyone seems to be respectful of others by not being in anyone’s way and politely moving over for the bikers. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to get out the house for an enjoyable walk, run, or hike.

It had been several years since I had been to this park so I'd forgotten how awesome this place is. There are several trail options and different degrees of difficulty. The scenery of the park and surrounding area is great.

This is one of our favorite local hiking parks as it doesn't get to busy. It has a few challenging areas mostly flat trails. It has a beautiful view of the San Antonio from the hilltop lookout. It has a playground for kids. Pavillion and multiple restrooms. There are also areas for biking if you like that. Interesting enough the is a trail that connects to the Rim shopping area.

Lots of good hiking trails! There is a main paved trail to the lookout, and many other dirt/rocky trails. Small playground, and a neat climbing structure for kids.

Great park to hike and walk. It has a nice mix of paved and unpaved trails. It can be challenging or easy based on the path taken. It's the only access point for either Salado Creek or Leon Creek Greenway.

Very nice park with all the trails to walk you would want. I enjoyed the view once at the end of each trail. Definitely wear your hiking boots, very rocky on most paths in the woods. Really enjoyed it.. The Hike Queens had a good hike on this day!
