My family has been going here for years. When you walk onto the grounds of The Guenther house its like being transported to a different time. Its quaint, quiet grounds are welcoming. The staff are all extremely attentive. We have never been sorry we went.

I got the breakfast taco's and the house coffee. So tasty. Vicki was our server and she was really cool! she did a great job and was so friendly. We have never had a bad experience. and we have been going for over 20 years.

I hope they area always there. I always appreciate the time spent there.

If you go, make sure you check out the store upstairs. They have all kinds of really cool kitchen stuffs, and lots of their mixes and even the house coffee to take home and make yourself (soo good). They also have baked goods for purchase downstairs off the kitchen. Best sticky buns and Cinnamon rolls ever!

They have parking and its easy to get to. Dont skip it! Its really awesome! There arent many quaint places like this anymore. #local.

2nd time visiting and it was even better than the first. We arrived Sunday at 11:30 am & had a 40 minute wait for a table. Enjoyed visiting the shop and buying some of their spectacular coffee while we waited. Brunch was perfect and we ate so much delicious food! Amazing biscuits, pancakes, sausage, bacon, potatoes! Yum! Side note: special shout out to Rita, manager, who secured my purse that I left behind, until I could return even though they had already closed. Huge thanks. We will be back next time we are in town!

Attentive servers, and the patio was great for brunch. The food came out hot and full of flavor. The biscuits were the best!! And the San Antonio Quiche was perfectly baked with just the right amount of zing.

Guenther House is great, so much history. We accidentally came through the wrong side of the house but the server was very sweet and served us anyways. I loved the atmosphere and the service was really good. A must see spot in San Antonio!

This place was great! There was a line to be seated but we waited about 5 minutes for two people. You have the option to sit inside or outside under a huge heated cover/tent. The food was your basic food but the place was super cute. The jalapeño and peach preserves were really good!! The service was excellent too! To exit the building you have to go upstairs and go through a mini house tour. That was so cool if you’re about history. We will definitely come back here.
