This place looked like it had potential, but don’t let the pictures fool you. The drinks were TERRIBLE! How do you open a BAR and have bad drinks?! That just doesn’t make sense. I’m curious as to why the reviews aren’t talking about how bad they are. If I’m paying $14 for a cocktail it better be damn good. There are so many bars in SATX that make amazing drinks for the same price and even less! This was like going to a dive bar and ordering a well drink on $2 Tuesdays. So disappointing.

I'm pretty biased, but Maeve is a gem of a spot filling a huge void in San Antonio's electronic music scene. Top notch bartenders serving up great cocktails. Really awesome food truck parked onsite serving late (or at least until sold out). Excellent sound, indoor and out. Safe respectful vibe with grade-A security. Although Maeve has only been open for a couple months, it is already frequented by a community of music lovers that cut across the cultural spectrum. The music is always on point, showcasing a lot of local and regional talent, with big international bookings on the near horizon. Maeve is also the new home for several of SA's staple House music monthlies. Can't recommend highly enough, well worth a visit for a chill night at the bar earlier in the week (currently they are open Monday to Saturday) or some fun on the dancefloor as the week runs into the weekend.

This place is awesome.Yes you're gonna pay a cover, yes you're gonna get frisked, yes you're gonna get your ID checked, and yes you're gonna have an awesome time.No hoodlums or hood rats present. Great crowd of party people. Beautiful venue, drinks not super expensive, music loud, but not too loud, fire dancers, dope DJs, excellent spaces to hang out.Classy, upscale, private parking. San Antonio needs more places like Maeve. Staff is polite and professional, place is very clean, bartenders are fast and friendly, zero attitude.Dress up, be ready to dance, get lit, take a Lyft, have a great night. Maeve is it.

Tulum night life in San Antonio. Maeve was exceptional. San Antonio desperately needed a spot like this. And Maeve delivers!!The highlight of East Pearl, Maeve have great service, superb cocktails, and an atmosphere that you can’t find anywhere in San Antonio. Can’t wait to go back
