Brilliant dining experience that is constantly changing and never disappoints. Every course has a story. Wine pairings are perfect. Atmosphere and service are fantastic. Lucky to have this in San Antonio.

Enjoyed every single bite of the food. Aguachile course stood out as exceptional. The bread course was up there too. Some of the best bread I’d ever tasted. Menu rotates so not sure what will come next, but if it’s anything like my meal, you will enjoy. Price is high but I feel worth it Service was fantastic, each person at the table had their own personality when it came to presenting. Felt human. Recommend the cocktail pairing also. Did not personally care for the last one because I don’t like licorice flavors but still would do it again without hesitation

Fantastic. Mixtli changes up its menu every few months, and this one is all about how Lebanese immigrants influenced Mexican food. Cool concept, and they pulled it off really well. We started with mezze and tea. The hummus, tabbouleh dolma and kibbis were all great. The scallop aguachile with coconut and pomegranate was bright and fresh. The lobster al pastor with pickled pineapple was a fun twist since al pastor actually came from Lebanese shawarma and the sourdough pita with toum was so good I could have eaten a whole basket of it. The Wagyu short rib shish barak with salsa macha was probably my favorite of the night. We went with the reserve wine pairing and it was a solid deal for the quality of what they poured. Every glass matched the food well. They also have a cocktail and mocktail pairing which other guests went with and loved- very cool. Lastly, the service was great, friendly, and clearly loves what they do. They explained every dish without it feeling stuffy. Definitely worth a visit.

We celebrated our anniversary at Mixtili with the nine-course Mexican Pacific menu. The menu rotates every few months, and the chef who made the dish explained each course as it was delivered. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation time, so I tried the Mixtli Margarita in the Bar at Mixtili. It was absolutely fantastic—probably the best I’ve had. The ambiance, food, drinks, and service were all excellent and very thoughtful. It was a memorable experience, and we look forward to returning.

Michelin gave these guys a star, and I'm giving them five stars; one of those stars is more significant than the others. I've actually got a lot to say about this place, but words couldn't possibly do it justice. Just try it. Magdalene asked that I remember her name for my review, and she deserves recognition, but (not to undermine her contribution to the experience) she was only one part of what made Mixtli such a beautiful culinary adventure, and I certainly plan to come back when I'm next in San Antonio. Thank you all for what you've done here.

The team was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful in celebrating my birthday. It was my 4th time here and The Bay of Campeche menu was absolutely my favorite. It is always a joy to dine at Mixtli and I can’t wait to return!

I've only tried the drinks at their bar and I am already so impressed and intrigued enough that I would purchase every add-on to their ticket system. I want every bit of what their chef has planned for me. To put in in a few words; passion, genius, and dedication.

Wow! Awesome place! Very tasty and innovative food, excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. In the place you can enjoy the tasting menu where all the dishes are excellent and with very interesting stories.

Great experience all throughout!!! Let's star by saying that we had to reschedule our reservation due to child care issues and Cheff Rico was so amazing and was able to fit us in the next evening. Drinks are AMAZING! And the wine parings are great too. All courses are just perfect, the mix of flavors and textures; the smell; the look; just amazing. Worth every penny and more! Staff is amazing as well, everyone is so professional and provide a brief and very interesting description of each course. Perfect for our anniversary celebration. Would definitely recommend! Hopefully will be comming back soon!

Having gone to many michellin star restaurants, Mixtli surpasses many of them. If this was located in New York they would definitely receive a star. We came for a transition menu of Guatemalan cuisine and learned quite a bit from the dishes. From the Korean influence and use of vegetables, every dish was a hit. A rarity where there is usually one dish where the chef is a little too avant garde, but Mixtli knows how to prepare a tasting menu. I'll definitely come back on my next trip to San Antonio. Top 5 meals ever and my partners best meal!

If I could, I'd give it 100 jalapeños! I love everything about the dining experience. We enjoyed the 10 course experience. The flavors and presentation were wonderful. I enjoyed the history of every dish served. The staff were pleasant and well coming. I love the attention to detail from the food to decor throughout the restaurant and bar down to the restrooms. The bartender mixed a personalized drink for me with bubbles with was divine. I don't normally like mezcal, but I took a sip of my cousins drinks, and they were actually well balanced and drinks I'd actually drink. Next time I'm in town, we'll be bringing our moms to experience this beautiful place and new seasonal menu.

I wish I could give this restaurant more stars. It is for sure on my all-time favorites list. The best way to describe the delicious food is to quote my husband, "There's a carnival going on in my mouth!" You sit amongst the kitchen and watch the orchestrated plates come out. From the first to the last bite, the flavors that were created here were like none other I've ever had. And complementing the food, Hailey paired the perfect wines. Wow! Rico and Diego have outdone themselves. Well worth every penny you spend. I can't wait to visit again! Thank you for the fun night!
