The perfect venue for our dream wedding! The Veranda and their team helped our small wedding feel larger than life from the size of the venue to the quality of the catering! To this day we still receive compliments on the venue and the food. There is a variety of scenery around the venue to fit your desired photo aesthetic as well as a large variety of delicious dishes to choose from on their catering menu. If you're looking for a gorgeous venue with fantastic catering services, The Veranda is the place for you!

A hidden gem!! The Veranda was the PERFECT venue for our wedding Nov 16, 2025! It was not only conveniently located but also whimsical and romantic. At our first visit, I fell in love with the house, the foliage, courtyard, the lights, and the perfect little details that really felt unique to San Antonio. I looked specifically for a venue that didn't need to be decorated to save on the budget. The Veranda is gorgeous on it's own and the perfect indoor/outdoor space for our 100 guests. Jenna and Jessica made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. They had great communication throughout the planning year and worked so hard to make the day exactly what we wanted. The staff and Spice of Life Catering there were amazing too and, as a bride who planned everything herself, that made the day incredible. Simply Amazing!

The program was very disappointing. The chairs were not suitable for two hours sitting - my back was killing me by the end of the night.

My brother in law had his wedding here and it was a beautiful venue! I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the actual venue itself it was gorgeous and we got great pictures. This is probably one of the reasons why I still gave it three stars. I personally was fortunate enough to not have to encounter Christina (I believe that’s her name) the manager face to face but one time for a quick drink. She was not nice at all to the guest at the wedding. She told my sister in law when she went up to the bar (it was an open bar) for her second drink that she was cut off and that she had to much to drink. My sister took a Uber to the wedding and was only getting her second drink. My grandmother who doesn’t drink got yelled at as she was leaving when she stumbled on some rock by Christina saying “ma’am how much did you drink!?”. I could keep going about how rude this woman was but I think you get the point. Bartender was frustrated because he just wanted to do his job and she wouldn’t leave him alone. I hope our tips made up for it. I would fire Christina she’s horrible at her job I’m sorry.

Went for my brother's wedding a week ago. The venue was beautiful, it was an outdoor ceremony, reception was inside. Food was very good, theirs was a brunch wedding. (I think catering was included? Maybe even wedding planner? I wasn't part of planning or details so I can't say for sure). They had an omelette bar which was delish, salad, bacon/sausage, staff kept everything filled. Restrooms were clean, the bridal suite was nice with a sofa for seating. The groom's quarters were very spacious and clean. Staff was helpful and courteous.

Decent venue, parking setup is a bit unorhtodox, and google toom me through the back ways to get in here. All in all a pretty property and friendly staff.

Date night at The Veranda to experience “Candlelight: The Best of Hans Zimmer” by the Listeso String Quartet and it was great fun! The venue was lovely and the sound was fantastic! Attended a Candlelight concert featuring music composed by Hans Zimmer. Went with a friend. We had a beautiful time. The facility was beautifully decorated. The grounds were well kept.

The Veranda venue and partner caterer Spice of Life were absolutely wonderful to us. They were quick to respond on any wedding questions we had. The venue was beautiful. The food was Delicious! An absolutely beautiful location, within our budget, close to hotels. Logistically perfect for out of town guests. It was a quick 5-10 minute Uber ride to 3 hotels nearby, and 10-15 minute ride to the SATX Airport. Perfect for out of town guests- no guess work. We are so happy we chose this group for our wedding day.
