My husband and I were very disappointed. Service and atmosphere was great. However food was not so good. We had the seafood paella for 2. It was more for 1. They only gave you 2 shrimp, 2 mussels, 2 tiny octopus, and a few shredded calamari. The octopus and calamari we couldn’t eat. It was extremely tuff and chewy. The mussels had beards on them. They were not cleaned. Bill cam out to $65 and we had to diet cokes. Waste of money.

Had our wedding reception at Toro back in March in the courtyard. The food was amazing and so were the drinks. The staff was very polite and helpful. The weather was amazing and the location is so convenient with its proximity to downtown. Having our wedding reception here was the best decision we've ever made.

The tapas was especially good

This place was packed in the middle of the day during the week. We ordered a bunch of tapas: croquetas, datiles al tocino & queso, taco de cochinita pibil, and patatas bravas. Everything was so delicious. We also got some cocktails. There was a small issue when we got there getting a table but the bartender took care of us and got us a table and waited on us. He was the best and saved the experience.

Loved our experience in Barcelona so much we started searching for something local.Nice atmosphere but wish seating wasn’t so tight but the food was pretty good. Definitely going to visit again and also try the other location.

A little slow to get you going. I sat at the bar, not many tables. The male bartender acknowledged me when I Sat down. He then walked away and didn't come back for 15 to 20 min. The female bartender was spot on, she saw me sitting there and didn't hesitate to help me.

First of all, the service was great! The servers and waiters did a great job. They gave out graduation celebrant a free desert. The food was good but not better than other Brazilian steakhouses. The cost per person was about $68, and other places were less expensive. The only thing that stood out was the grilled pineapple. Now, the worst part of the experience, we made a reservation for 10. We were seated immediately. However, we were seated on a long table, with one end against the wall. Our table was between other similar long tables. The other tables were too close, and it was crowded with the servers walking in between the tables. The people seated at the end of the table closest to the wall didn't get served the meat as much because the servers get to them as often. Also, getting up to go to the salad bar was a chore because they had to walk between people and chairs. The experience was less for them.

If you know, you know. The food is totally delicious. If you are a local or a visitor to San Antonio, put this place on your list of must go to. It's in walking distance to the convention center.

Excellent dining experience. You surely feel like you're in a fancy tapas place in Madrid. Great vibe. The food was delicious. Make reservations for happy hour (M-F 2-7p) to sample tapas and really good cocktails. Stay for the music that starts at 8.
