I wanted to pay my respects to Calvin. I was having a horrible, stressful day—my flight out of San Antonio was canceled, getting out of downtown was a challenge because of the Spurs vs. NY game, and internet outages seemed to be happening everywhere.

I stepped into High Street Wine, and Calvin immediately put me at ease. He reassured me that everything would be okay—and it was.

While enjoying a couple of chilled proseccos, I watched a FIFA match, managed to schedule a bus ride, and made my way back home to Dallas that same day.

It’s rare these days to find someone so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely in tune with their customers. Calvin’s kindness and calm presence turned a very difficult day into a memorable one, and I am incredibly grateful for his hospitality.

High Street continues to impress. The atmosphere is polished yet welcoming, and every detail feels intentional—from the space itself to the overall experience.

Leah’s service was absolutely top notch. She was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable, and made everything feel seamless. It’s rare to find that level of professionalism paired with genuine warmth.

This place is gold. Celebrated my baby shower here and I was so pleased with my service. I love the atmosphere very upscale and classy vibes. The food was awesome my friends enjoyed the experience. Desiree (Des) the event coordinator (please excuse my spelling) is super helpful she’s very kind and a joy to work with she went above and beyond to make sure I had everything to make my event successful. Please celebrate/dine/visit here if you are considering, you won’t be disappointed. Also the wine selection is superb they even have classy non alcoholic options. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience, thank you.

Walking in as I was walking around the river trail, this place is in the Pearl area. It was a very nice upscale bar; they have a lot of options to choose from. Their amazing glass seller has a lot of options to choose from. I had a flight where you were able to choose your own rewind, and I was able to choose from a small list. I do wish the list was bigger, as they had many options, but most of them are sold by bottles in their store if it's not on the list.

I hosted a little get together for my podcast launch, and High Street was amazing! Their entire staff is so sweet, accommodating, and overall lovely. I’m a gluten free girlie but High Street has accommodating options and I didn’t go without (spicy feta is my favorite). They even were kind enough to add my podcast picture to the tv in the room we were in. I’ll forever recommend this lovely place. And I’ll definitely continue to come here for future events! Thank you for making this moment so easy for me. 🫶🏽 Especially at such short notice!

One of my most frequented places for a reason! Whether I'm wrapping up work from my laptop or grabbing a glass of wine with friends, High Street is the perfect venue.

The knowledgable and friendly staff make you feel right at home, no matter what your experience with wine is.

I love to explore new wines and learn more at their wine classes, a fun date night!

I've been a few times now. Everyone working there seems nice enough but most of the staff have little interest in being there. Some hide away from customers while others look busy polishing glasses while customers wait for service. There's a real lack of professionalism amongst the staff, only a few seem knowledgeable on wine and with no dress code the staff look more suited for a dive bar, if I'm being kind.

I always have such a great experience here! It's a great place to spend time with my family and also a romantic place to have some time with my spouse when the mood calls for it. As much of the menu can be complex and elevated, the staff has always made me feel comfortable and educated when making a selection. I come here every time I happen to be at The Pearl!

Location? 10/10. Wine list is great. I’m a huge fan of Spanish wines and it was a good list compared to other San Antonio places. Our helper for the night Natalie was great service was great! Great vibe at high street wine co! I’ll definitely make this a weekend spot for a bottle of wine.

Oh my gosh, I don’t even know where to start haha, I LOVE this place, this was my second visit here and this place is so amazing. I love their selection in wine and omg the food!! The flatbreads are to DIE FOR! I was with some friends and we all ordered the three available, pics below. My fav though was the smoked salmon! Amazing
