The Natural Bridge Caverns will have you realizing that humans may be able to create some pretty incredible things but we still ain’t got nothing on mother nature! The name comes from the a naturally occurring 60ft limestone slab bridge that crosses over the amphitheater setting of the caverns entry way. The bridge was left suspended when the sinkhole underneath collapsed. As the largest known cavern open to the public in the state of Texas, the Natural Bridge Caverns create a unique and natural atmosphere where your lovely other half can explore and discover the depths of the earth.

As someone who doesn't consider themselves adventurous, this is a must do! Im glad I did it. It was beautiful! Admittedly, im glad we only did 1 cavern, because I was ready to get outa there at the end. Id definitely do the other cavern when I return!

One of the coolest things I’ve ever done. The guide was fantastic, I learned a lot and it was so pretty inside. It’s a lot cooler (temperature) inside than you’d think and it’s very spacious and well lit. It’s honestly great for all ages

Went to the Hidden Wonders Tour and it was excellent. The cave had been untouched until it was found so there many excellent examples of stalactites and stalagmites some even touching. The light shows were pretty cool as well. The belt conveyor system to get you out was nice.

We had an amazing experience at Natural Bridge Caverns. The caves are absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. The formations, lighting, and walking paths make the whole tour feel very special and memorable. Every section of the cavern has something unique to see, from the huge open chambers to the detailed stalactites and stalagmites.

The place is well maintained, the pathways are safe, and the lighting makes the natural rock formations look incredible. It is a great place for families, kids, and anyone who enjoys nature, history, or photography. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was very organized.

Highly recommend visiting Natural Bridge Caverns. It is definitely worth the trip and one of those places where pictures don’t fully capture how beautiful it feels in person.

Natural Bridge Caverns is one of our family’s favorite attractions in the San Antonio area, and we have made it a tradition to visit every year. Every trip feels a little different because the water levels inside the caverns can change depending on the season, which makes each visit unique. If you are visiting for the first time, the Discovery Tour is an absolute must. The guided walk takes about an hour and showcases some of the most impressive formations in the cave system while providing interesting history and geology along the way.

One thing I appreciate about Natural Bridge Caverns is that there are multiple tour options available, allowing visitors to choose an experience that fits their interests and activity level. The ticket prices are fair considering everything you get to experience, although costs can add up quickly for larger families or groups. Even so, we have always felt the experience was worth it.

The fun does not stop when you leave the caverns. The outdoor area is well designed and provides plenty of space for kids to run around, play, and relax after the tour. There is also a large maze, an impressive zipline attraction, and a well-stocked souvenir shop that keeps everyone entertained for hours. The overall venue is clean, family-friendly, and easy to navigate.

Whether you are a local looking for a fun day trip or a visitor exploring San Antonio, Natural Bridge Caverns offers a memorable experience for all ages. It remains one of the best family attractions in the area, and we look forward to returning every year.

Great caving experience! We ordered our tickets online to secure our desired spot. The guided tour was about an hour long. The cave was gorgeous with many rooms. Some of the chambers were quite massive and very well decorated. One needs to be able to climb stairs and steep slopes. Not wheelchair accessible. Our guides were great.
Visitor center has an eatery, restrooms, and plenty of souvenirs. The park itself had other attractions that one could attend, with additional charges of course. This caverns was about 45 minutes northeast of San Antonio.

Wow! What a different and fantastic experience. Personally, I found everything very well organized. The guide spoke too quickly and ended up slightly compromising the intelligibility of the message, especially for foreigners like me.

We've been to a lot of caves and didn't know what to expect with this one but it's gorgeous!!! So many beautiful formations.
Easy trail. Our 3 year old walled the entire tour. Very nice facilities

Took the Discovery Tour. Fun place to explore and escape the summer heat. The caverns remain at 70 degrees year round but the humidity is increased. About a 3/4 long in walking distance. Some steps and inclines that may be challenging for people with health ailments but otherwise a relaxing walk. The tour guide was very knowledgeable.

Today we took the Hidden Wonders Tour. We arrived at 1pm, but our tour didn't start until 2pm. During our wait time, we raced our way through the maze. It was really hot outside, but we completed the maze in 11 minutes, which is faster than the average of 15 minutes so we were happy about that. Lol Our tour guide was Jennifer. She was pretty thorough, but it was kinda hard to hear her since we were in a large group. All caverns are pretty to me, but this one was spectacular. It is amazing to see how massive caverns can be! There were so many centuries old stalactites, stalagmites, columns, soda straws, etc. Each "room" was more beautiful than the last. And the last room on this tour had a theatrical light show that was really nice. We rode the BAT thingy on the way back up. It was really slow, but it beat having to hike up the incline to the exit. 😁

I've been here three times. The first time I was a student, the second time when I had really small kids and the third time when the kids had grown up. It has been amazing every single time but this time the kids were able to appreciate the science, geology and history behind all the formations which made the experience really great. It was heartwarming to see the kids enjoying the experience and getting something out of it. Great place for the family to view one of nature's wonders.

Fun little outdoor mini gold place. I love that there are hills and water features, not only to look at, but to play around too. It's much more interesting than playing on a flat course with just objects to shoot around.
The turf is a bit worn in places, but that's to be expected since it's exposed to the elements.
Overall, a great way to spend some time. I would definitely come back.
