Breakfast was sad. I got the American breakfast with a sour cream pancake. The eggs were from a carton, bacon rubbery from sitting in a warmer, potatoes from the freezer—dry and tasteless, and the pancake dense—chalky—unpleasant. I would have had a better experience at Denny’s. The coffee was great and the location on the river walk is perfect. Their breakfast, the simple American Breakfast, was disappointing.If staying at the hotel, the breakfast credit is not worth it.

We had a delightful evening at Ostra. Our waitress (Hannah) was extremely pleasant, we had a window seat with a view of the river, but the stand out winner of the entire evening was the Hamachi Crudo appetizer.I am told this is an in-house creation. It is sushi grade tuna in a bit of a vinegar mustard sauce, but the truly imaginative part is the hard cracked corn, which balances the softness of the fish, and the sweet pea vines, which gave it a green counterpoint to the sauce. Not to be missed!

Food was below average, had to ask for fresh coffee because the first cup was bitter. Service slow. Too bad the restaurant has a great view of the Riverwalk

I have an affinity for delicious food and amazing service. Those two things are harder and harder to find, and are especially harder to find together. Ostra excels in both of those areas. We ordered the East Coast Oysters, the Scallops, and the Tuna, and oh my gosh, every bite was delectable. The oysters were some of the best we have ever had. They were so good that we went there 3 nights in a row just for the oysters. The scallops and Tuna were cooked perfectly and the sauces and vegetables that accompanied were a pleasant surprise to the palate. I was in the River Walk area for 5 days and the food at Ostra was hands down the best I had.Our server was Jorge. He was incredibly attentive and personable and was knowledgeable about the menu. If he is working when you visit, ask to sit in his section.Since we were so impressed with our experience, we asked to meet the chef. Chef John was humble and kind and possesses amazing skills of preparing food in ways rarely seen, and it's good, high quality food. If you want a 5 star dining experience you must absolutely visit Ostra.

It is on the side of riverwalk, and the view is perfect. The crab cake is fresh and tastes delicious. The redfish is grilled perfectly. The waiters are nice and professional. The restaurant is clean comparing to others in the same area.

wonderful experience. not too loud so we could have a great conversation. Everyones food was delicious. Highlights were the salmon, chicken, and redfish. one person ordered the vegan cauliflower steaks. It was delicious, but she was still hungry.service was great. Interesting drink menu with full bar. Desserts looked good, but I was too full.

Mike was awesome! We ordered the Tower Appetizer and we ended up full! ***Just be aware that the menu on this site is not current/the same, as some things were available 3 yrs ago and they will be changing it in a few days so hopefully it will reflect properly. But the food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this establishment.
